Very likable guy (president of Newmar) really enjoyed this demo. Keep up the awesome work Andrew! As A Rv sales man I learn something new each and every time I watch one of your videos.
I was in that little group hanging out while the interview was happening. After the interview the president of newmar walked over and chatted with us for about half an hour. Very very nice guy and was very interested in our questions and comments! 😊
My 2015 Dutch Star was in the background of the campground overview. The service center is very nice and the personnel are exceptional. I had several things done at the service center and all were done with care and craftsmanship. Andrew did not address the service itself, but know that when your coach is in the bays it is being worked on continuously. Your tech takes your coach in at 6 am and brings it back to you at 2:00 - 2:30. He will give you a comprehensive status report on progress and breakdown of pending items. It does not sit there for weeks on end. Many owners schedule their yearly service needs and return every year. The campground itself is very nice with full hook-ups. We own a King Aire, and we are at Hearthside Grove right now. We absolutely love our 2020 coach, and this is our first time at Hearthside Grove, and it is unbelievably beautiful. The grounds are breathtaking.

Andrew, absolute top-shelf interview! Newmar is in a class of RV that I will never be able to afford but it was great to hear/see from an inside perspective about the RV industry. Keep up the great work!
I also worked for whirlpool engineering (1999/2000, apprenticeship) at the plant in ohio. Tooling for things like washing machines. Was blown away by what you could do with a little air pressure and metal. Very cool experience. Went on to norcold, norwood and then 9/11 happened and i flipped to DOD.

i would prefer the dishwasher near the counters and sink, looks very inconvienent to have to cross to the bedroom to load and unload. the fisherpaykel is a much better washer than most others on the market except for maybe a bosch.
Great Interview. Love the Newer Interior on the 2024 3947 Canyon Star Toy Hauler. The first few years looked really cheap and we chose another direction.
Hope it all goes well seems like a good man, I guess time will tell.

Love that the wiring is getting de-nestified. I own a 2023 Ventana 3709 with the large nests. I would love to talk to someone about some options for the future for our next Newmar in about 3 years.

Andrew Steele I am a huge fan and I respect your opinions on the various RV manufactures, With this said buying anything new, with that new smell and excitement of owning the RV is nothing but amazing. But (and there is always a but) the following RV's have been repeatedly seen on websites for sale after only 2 to 4 years of ownership, it is also worth noting that the owners have voiced frustration on having there rigs in for service more that they care to experience. The following is a list of all the RV's I would not recommend anyone buying and the are 1. Thor Motor Coach, 2. Newmar Corp.,
3.Forest River RV, 4.Entegra Coach, 5.Fleetwood RV, 6.Monaco Coach, 7.Jayco. and these are just a few of the bad RV's that tend to be sold by owners after 2 to 4 years. Now I am a retired Commercial Facilities manager and have done my research (and there may be a few exceptions to my list ) where people take very good care of there RV's listed. But I have always believed that if your going to do something do it right (and do not cut corners) Now I am not indorsing this brand of motor home but after doing my research I have found that this brand holds up longer and better then the RV's I have already listed and this RV its frame alone is garrenteed for 1 million miles and the engine brake in is 60k now you can find good used ones at a very good price and the reason your seeing more used PREVOST RV's is owners are up grading to the newer units with new and improved technology.
I invite anyone to comment on this post. Oh and a new PREVOST completed coversion is around 2.5 to 4 million and used are going for around 1 to 2 million and that is the same price people are paying for a new RV that I have posted in this post and they are selling them (sometimes at a lose) 2 to 4 years later after buying them. Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

Is this a company where you buy a RV and one week later the thing leaks, the floor collapses, the sliders get stuck etc. How is their response to issues?
Soft close should be standard. Kasey seems like the type of guy sit down and have a beer with him. Tell him the good and bad and he’ll give you the answer you need to know that’s a good thing. Also Andrew in all your videos I never see or heard of an option to put two bicycles in the storage under the camper. If somebody doesn’t wanna have a large tow vehicle, there’s gotta be a way to get some bicycle on that camper. Just wondering if any of the big companies have considered that not one bike two bikes.

I was looking at a few Newmar RV’s @ Pacific Shores Motorcoach resort just last week. Presently we have an older Cornerstone and are looking for something newer. As much as we loved the London Aire they had, until Newmar comes back with windows that actually open a Luxury Newmar will not be on our radar. We also really like a few Mountain Aire floor plans but again, none of the main windows open, only drivers window, small windows on the side of the slides and that it.
Let me tell you guys that was a really, really nice video really professional video. I will love to have one of those but too much money for me. We been camping for over 30 years and for 20 years we sleep intense and then I have two wheels toy holders and then I got rid of it and then I bought my first diesel pusher 35 foot. I got rid of it and I bought a 40 foot. That’s what I have but it’s an old one, but I love camping.
Going down the road I would prefer a brighter color scheme, I like Maroon with some creative flairs.
In the interview, he mentioned former President Matt Miller, the cousin to my great niece's husband, Awesome people, I tell you.
Never mentioned the price of that coach. Yeah if you have to ask you can't afford it but it would have been nice to know. This one is a beauty.

I am curious to know if those side compartments are waterproof/watertight in case you have to drive through flooded roads. Hope I get an answer from anybody who knows. ❤😊
Great video. I have a question about making an RV smart. I did 3D modeling and engineering so I am a bit of a gee, am retired now and one of the things I did was make my home smart. we really enjoy it and I have heard that smart RV's are available. I have also heard Newmar does have a smart RV.

Ok so finally someone is making a cool looking coach. I have been on the road most of my life with Very big rock bands and yes we have the Prevosts and american eagle and Newell but this coach is going to be a huge seller for Newmar and i know without question a bunch of people and artists that have the money to buy a COACH like this. Some coaches just look better with just a straight color without all the stripes and graphics which i think is kind of getting old.
Coach building co just like yacht builders are finally catching up to what the companies in europe have been building for the last 20 years. good on Newmar.

Waaaaaw, we do have a very different experience with newmar, waaaaaay different.
When we bought our used Dutch Star, we watched videos on UA-cam telling "hey the guys here does it for over 20 years, they're here to help you and they perfectly know the couches" cool.
Unfortunately, every single time we contacted Newmar, the answer was NO, WE DON'T KNOW,......
Beside of that, our frame is a Freightliner, engine Caterpillar and the rest is +/- Newmar, but when something needs to be done it's a "not me, not me" game !!!!
Anyway, buying a newmar is not different of buying a thor or another crap, once they get your money their answer is ALWAYS equivalent as f..k you !
Nice built ..... if you never need anything once you past the door (and they're happy to kick you out).
My next one will be a conversion based on Prevost, a recent used is the same price or cheaper than the overpriced newmar but you have a real customer service !!!

Spartan chassis all day everyday!!!! People ask for the Freightliner chassis because its more affordable and from my understanding is a welded together unit as opposed to being uni-body construction....

Seems like a genuine guy and I wish him the best in his new role, but I gotta say, when you have SOOO many coaches in for warranty work that you have to build a freaking campground to hold them all, it's not a good sign! That being said, I know this is an industry problem and not a Newmar-specific one....
They also said that many come every year for maintenance. They also do not put a limit on the age coach they service which would also keep them busy. After touring their plant and the quality of their builds, if we could afford it, Newmar would be our coach of choice.

Andrew - how does an all Black hold up - seems this would be a pain for maintenance (washing, wax, detailing) and summer heat just like cars?
Black is always the hardest to keep clean but it looks so good when it's clean.
