Great presentation of this fantastic module. Extremely well presented and immensely useful. Thanks a lot!
indeed it is nice! I think about getting the TipTop Audio folder. I had really good results routing the Behringer Neutron OSC mix out thru a very simple folder (shapeshifter, 1 knob) and back in the neutron, you can get sooo many different timbres out of the combined mixed (between the waveforms) osc's.
Always great tutorials, so thanks for that. I've not heard of this Modular Company before. Love how much this Module is capable of creating sound-wise and all !💡🎵👌
You're very welcome! Indeed a smaller company, they only have two modules out atm. But also designed the stochastic function generator which they licensed to ADDAC, and became the ADDAC506. Also a very creative module I covered recently, so I feel they know what they are doing :)
You're welcome, and enjoy the module! It's a core oscillator in my studio for some time now. Think I don't go to much into it in the video, but sending subtle amounts of modulation to the Symmetry really sounds good. I like slewed S&H, or an attack decay envelope with randomization to the length of both stages. So sometimes the Symmetry is hardly modulated, and other moments a bit more. Ads a lot of depth to the sound. Cheers!
@@MonotrailTechTalk Yeah! it's also a great accompaniment to the Furthrrrr Generator, which I also have in my system. Both are just perfect for each other. I modulated both of them all day yesterday, with everything I have in terms of EGs, LFOs and joysticks. Also the Robaux 3PT was amazing for this job. It was a FM and animations fest. I love it! Cheers Ps.: I had to install an ADDAC900PO Power Delay adapter on my Doepfer 12U (PSU3) busboard, so that the VCO starts in VCO mode on reboot. Otherwise it is always started in LFO mode. Ruben (Teia) was nicely helping me with that. Super nice and friendly guy. I think I will get the Teia VCF too. ✌️😊
Thanks so much for this information and the demos. I came here looking for an Erica Synths Black Ring-X-Fade demo but all of this has made me really focus on exactly the rig I want to create before I start getting into the Eurorack world. I'm a performing musician rather than knob twister for the most part so my needs are maybe a bit different from many. This and the companion VCF/VCA are tops on the list of must-have's. By the way, I think Teia is pronounced Tay-EE-Ah with a very short EE, right?
Hi there! Glad you found the channel and like some of the videos :) It's good to hear it sheds some light! And the're based in Portugal, so to be completely fair I'm not even sure how it's pronounced exactly!

Hi! Indeed, mixing two shapes and sending them off to a folder works great, happy to hear you're enjoying it! All the best :)

Got it yesterday! Thanks again for a detailed demo

very interesting vco!
Hey, glad you ended up here! This is still one of my favorites :)
Great video on what seems to be a very versatile module.
Thanks! And indeed, enjoyed tweaking this one for sounds, and will keep doing so for a while :) All the best!

I'm loving mine! Great video as usual :)
Awesome you got one already, I'm sure you'll enjoy it! Cheers :)
Wavefolders are like wavetables for analog 🙂
Yes they are :) And whatever you feed into it, determines the table!
Timber is pronounced like the name Amber … tAmber … now you try it … timber!
Thanks, that's correct! I'm a Dutch guy living in Germany trying to pronounce French words in English, the a/e/i sometimes run away from me ;)
It's spelled "bass".
