Toys "R" Us Geoffrey the Giraffe Suit Up

So, I decided to do the unthinkable and purchase a Geoffrey the Giraffe mascot costume from eBay. (Remember Geoffrey from Toys "R" Us?) In this video, you get to sit back and watch me put it on. It is quite the outfit, and it can be really tricky to maneuver around in, especially when it comes to the "unibody" (the upper head/body portion). I sure as heck would not wear something like this when it's warm or hot outside, and this will be a once-in-a-great-while thing, preferably at Halloween time. Plus, I want to preserve it as much as possible and keep it looking its best.

Anyone else think mascots with attached hands are cooler than ones with gloves? I do cuz it looks like the character is slowly coming to life (Coustumes with attached hands but with holes so people can use their hands to suit up don’t count, but are recommended for a balance between an easy suit up & looking real.

Aye, it's awkward because it was intended to have someone able to help you put it on.
that said, it's worth noting that there's a secondary fan inside- that sits behind the top star. There's a nearly impossible to feel out tiny button along the black box that sits above your head inside, and it should charge via a tiny usb plug in that sits at the bottom of the body, close to the rim you crawl into. I want to say the cable is on the left side- orienting to face is front, but I could be backwards in my minds eye.
As for that button though, good luck feeling it out in those gloves. I'd recommend accessing it via armhole before you put the shirt on.

As a fursuiter here, yea you do not want to wear those outside when it is hot at all!. Warm ish is ok but, either temp always wear some sort of under armor heat gear under it!. But very nice!.
