except many, MANY gamers I knew went to Toys R Us, especially when they had their buy 2 get 1 free games. They also were known for exclusive games and amiibo- just look up the Pikachu N64 or the Pikachu Game Boy Advance, they're both Toys R Us exclusives, and are both video game systems.
This is very sad but the brings back so much memories and To my chilled hood I remember when I won’t beg my parents to take me to toys r us and be there for a hour I also remember the beeping noises from the cash register and the screaming children. 😭😭😭😭
I cried, and I'm proud that I did, seeing those mascots was awesome. The fact that I will never be able to go there and see a store that I once thought was heaven ever again. But these good times were you had to actually go somewhere are starting to die. People are so lazy these days. This is coming from a young kid, and I honestly hate having to order stuff online. Man, I remember every birthday and Christmas when I was a kid I would go to Toys “R” Us and look at the things I wanted and it would just be so nice to look around and see all the great stuff they had. It was The best feeling of waking up on Christmas and seeing a bunch of presents under the tree or on a birthday getting the new hottest toy. I wish I could rewind time and relive my childhood all over again, But now it’s just a nostalgic memory😢
Today we drove by where a Toys R Us was, about 30 minutes from where I lived. I witnessed the sign get taken down, after months of it standing, abandoned, and on the left of it said, " Electronic Express 80% Off! In the future! " I literally have never cried so much in my life.
