  • We sat down with Dave Pinczkowski to tie one of his signature flies: the Bad Hair Day. This fly is tied almost entirely with craft fur, which gives it incredible action in the water. The fly was originally tied for upper Midwest bass, but it has since been proven effective on all kinds of predatory fish, even tarpon. There are a few tricks to this fly, so check it out.

I don't even tie flies and I just watched 11 minutes of a man spinning fake hair around a hook with some weird background noises... and enjoyed it.

One of my all time favorites, that and his craw pattern.

I'm doing some for Mahimahi in the salt. Great pattern and fun to tie!

Haha I also have a pair of those trimming scissors. I don't think their primary use is fly tying however... ;)

Rubber legs and some large mono eyes and that would make a sick crayfish fly.
