This was the best video yet! Thank you!!! I am so glad you explained this part to me! I was so frustrated and sun burned and thought I was gonna lose my mind! You helped me if time!!! You Rock!❤
Thank you so much! If Step 14 in the instructions just would've told you to snap the hinge into the side panel it would've been so much easier to understand. Very helpful!
Thank you. I was putting it together late this afternoon but stopped at this step because it wasn't clear to me. I thought there might be a devoted video.
Hi. 66 year old granny here. My girlfriend and I put the shed together last weekend - but stopped at installing the doors since I’ve heard such bad things about the process. (Did I mention I’m dealing with a concussion??). After watching your video - I’m going to give this a go by myself. Wish me luck!
@@handyneasy It did help BUT I still had trouble! 2 of the hinges on both doors snapped in easily - but the 3rd hinge on each door did not. And it didn’t matter what hinge it was (top, middle, bottom) - the 3rd one did NOT want to snap in. (I had door shut, open part way, all the way - didn’t matter.) I finally did get them both in. Not really sure how. TIP: If you have the hinge/door lined up correctly, the hinge will just snap right in place. And you do hear an audible snap, by the way. Thanks for your help! Nice lookin’ shed.
Hi David! In my case, some screws went all the way in and others had a small gap. Nevertheless, the doors are working properly. I only went hand tight.
I hired some to do mine and two years later my door hinges still arent actually attached so i have to take off the whole door to get in lol. (He ended up giving up and jot charging me🤣)Ill take the screw out and try again but i haven't been able to get ot to work yet lol. Send help😂😂😂 how tf do you get the door to stay in place while you screw the hinges?
Hi! If you are having trouble attaching the hinges I would recommend that someone holds the door for you while you screw them in. If this is not possible, just try to align the hinges as shown in the video using both of your hands (one hand to hold the door and one hand to align them). When the hinges are facing toward the hinge receptacle try to push any hinge so that it is stable, then push the remaining all the way in and screw them in.
@@bigtaco956I would try to disassemble it and assemble again trying to push it up a little bit. It is normal for the door to have some resistance when closing, mine also rubs against the floor.
Line everything up, you may have to loosen some of the L brackets and wiggle the roof a bit. Make sure your “box” isn’t flexing. Roof will line right up.

Thank you Beverly! Glad to hear it was useful to you!
Thank you good job. Helped me out a lot !
Glad it helped!
Had a hard time installing hing screws until the Mrs suggested I close the door first.
Installing the screws with the door closed makes sense because the doors will be at proper level instead of nose down outside

Did the hinge screws screw all the way in? I've been unable to get them in even with a power screwdriver.

Do you put the doors first or the roof?
Hi! I installed the doors first and then the roof.
@@handyneasy me too but the left door is tough to close seems to be too low any tips please?

Do you have a video for the roof assembly? Mine isn’t lining up too well.
Line everything up, you may have to loosen some of the L brackets and wiggle the roof a bit. Make sure your “box” isn’t flexing. Roof will line right up.
Thanks. We had to slightly "twist" the entire shed to get everything square and then it slid on fine with help.@@forty5r637
Where can I get some of these hinges? Ty
Hi! If you need additional hinges I would try to contact Suncast. I believe their phone number is 1-800-846-2345
This was not that hard……😂
Thank you!!!
Thank you !!!
