First can I just say how God really blessed me and guided me to this video, I prayed because I was having such a hard time understand how the human face is formed and how to apply it to my portraits and art pieces. Your video not only has allowed me to now know ALLLL the bones and muscles but I feel so motivated to just draw draw DRAW now hahaha! I hope this can help me out. I think something that makes digital art so confusing for me is that I just have the basic pen on a basic app and cant draw light/hard and I end up just giving up. I’m much better at drawing on paper with pencil where I can do this. Do you have a recommendation for an app/pen I could use? I’ll literally try anything, I’m young and am extremely new to digital art but I’m invested.

Digital pens take some adjusting to if you're used to physical mediums, I found that picking a pen/brush and sticking to it until I was comfortable with it was the best thing. You should also be able to adjust them in the settings, but getting too into brush settings isn't a great idea if you're starting off.
using a very small brush so that you aren't worrying about line weight too much can help as well, if you're just doing study sketches and nothing that needs more finishing detail with line variation. It's going to be hard to adjust to using digital brushes but it will be worth it if you can stick to one and get a hang of it!
