I am an immigrant myself and i have now become a citizen in my new country. I believe that the most important thing is to assimilate with the new society that has adopted you as their own. It is extremely unfair to come to another country and not respect the local laws and customs there and start harping about human rights when those laws or customs are opposite of your own culture back home. You made the decision to move, now also make the decision to assimilate. No society can survive the mass immigration of people if they wont assimilate to the new land they are moving to.
Most immigrants do not think that way though. For example, in Canada we have to say happy holidays instead of merry Christmas in our schools because It offends immigrants. Makes no sense. They moved here and we have to change our cultures. Because of things like this people are fed up and nobody really likes each other.
The US Assimilates our immigrants and I think it's very smart to slowly introduce them to our customs, laws, freedoms, rights, etc. Trump made fatal mistakes when he withdrew our troops from Syria. When President Biden learned of Trump's release of 5000 Taliban terrorists and they were there already, he had to warn Iran not to harm the 3000 US soldiers we had there and push the agreement back to August. He saved the Aghanistans who helped our soldiers. They were staying at a resort near me and everyday I would see the children playing soccer with their big brother friends. Their parents smiling and watching them. Biden kept them there to Assimilate into our society, and it will work. Had Britain, Germany, etc done the same. Thats the point. People get asylum from fleeing from a dictorship, but as soon as they live in a democracy, they disregard our laws and go out on the streets to support dictatorships like the one in Gaza for example. Its absolutely absurd.

I'm not against immigration but any country should have procedures in place that will allow a swift deportation of people who were rejected a status of refuge, especially where are concerns regarding public safety.
Do the countries they come from have lots of legal immigration? Have you looked at the laws of other countries? They state in their laws that they dont want their demographic changed, their culture changed or their citizens to become second class. Every European nation need to do this, and much, much more. Citizenship should be withdrawn from people that can't or won't integrate into our secular democratic societies.
Well the sad truth is, we have too many old people. They will have to work until 68 or 69. And this goes for every european country. Here in Germany 57% of Voters are 50 and above. Either we get more young people that work and pay taxes, or the old people have to work longer or loose retirement money.

Germany and it's politics have real issues! I was working with a young man - about 25 y.o - back in 2018. He came from Ukraine after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 in the first time. He found himself a good job, rented an appartment, payed bills, taxes and so on. One day he just stopped coming to work. I asked my colleagues that had contact with him and they told me that he was arrested and deported because the asylum request was denied. I think he was making room for the others that don't work and don't want to, don't pay taxes and will not, just wait for the government to pay up benefits. Well done Germany !

Swedish minister of immigration proposed something similar last week. She also said that it has to be in cooperation with other EU members so we don’t get a situation as with the terror attack in Brussels against two Swedes in which the attacker had been deported from several EU countries but still remained inside the EU. She proposed the EU, or countries inside the EU who chose to cooperate on this, to open deportation centers outside of the union where all who are to be deported are moved to. I believe that’s a good idea.

The problem with these countries "deporting" the bad apples is that they are simply handed a deportation ORDER. So really, it's up to them whether or not the will comply. In most cases, they do not and decide to move to another EU country. The government never checks on them if they did leave. They should be taken to the airport and escorted all the way to the plane's entrance. This is what happened to the attacker in Belgium. He was ordered deported by 2 different EU countries but never left.

I am Peruvian inmigrant. I hard studied and worked honestly. I respected the local rules even when I disagree. I collaborated with this country the best I could. Now I have a decent retirement and I am grateful with the country offered me opportunities.. So, I say that inmigration is good. Chaotic immigration NO. If the immigrants want to preserve their habits, culture and religion with no openness to the culture of the country where they are living, I said that they have no right to get in.
All countries have the right to decide who’s welcome or not. And if they are welcome on what condition. An immigrant who who’s not willing to give up his culture, religion, language, etc, should stay in his/her country. Diversity is good, as long as everybody respects the host country govern, tradition, and laws. It’s upsetting for native citizens that a large group of immigrant arrive demanding rights and benefits that they have not earned.
See but that can be a slippery slope, I do understand respecting a host nation's language and culture, however in regards to religious beliefs and language that can be more fluid because as long as you learn that nation's language you're ok to speak your own at home, as long as your religious beliefs can find accomodations with those of others (i.e not impede on the rights of others as much as possible) then the argument needs to really be that cultural acceptance needs to be up to the point where accomodations are fine for everyone.

Deportions simply have to be taken seriously. No country should welcome criminals. For those who are well behaved and integrate, should be welcomed to stay, but troublemakers should be deported.
Good move. If the person has been rejected, why keep that person around. There must be reasons why that persons application was rejected. I think its time to look into the intentions of some of these rights groups. Society must have rules and order for it to function properly.
I know a family whose application was refused a decade ago and they were still here in Germany 4 years after refusal. They have lived off benefits the husband has never applied for a work permit which he could have done why bother when the benefits were so good.

The US Assimilates our immigrants and I think it's very smart to slowly introduce them to our customs, laws, freedoms, rights, etc. Trump made fatal mistakes when he withdrew our troops from Syria. When President Biden learned of Trump's release of 5000 Taliban terrorists and they were there already, he had to warn Iran not to harm the 3000 US soldiers we had there and push the agreement back to August. He saved the Aghanistans who helped our soldiers. They were staying at a resort near me and everyday I would see the children playing soccer with their big brother friends. Their parents smiling and watching them. Biden kept them there to Assimilate into our society, and it will work. Had Britain, Germany, etc done the same. Well the sad truth is, we have too many old people. They will have to work until 68 or 69. And this goes for every european country. Here in Germany 57% of Voters are 50 and above. Either we get more young people that work and pay taxes, or the old people have to work longer or loose retirement money.

Germany and it's politics have real issues! I was working with a young man - about 25 y.o - back in 2018. He came from Ukraine after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 in the first time. He found himself a good job, rented an appartment, payed bills, taxes and so on. One day he just stopped coming to work. I asked my colleagues that had contact with him and they told me that he was arrested and deported because the asylum request was denied. I think he was making room for the others that don't work and don't want to, don't pay taxes and will not, just wait for the government to pay up benefits. Well done Germany !

Swedish minister of immigration proposed something similar last week. She also said that it has to be in cooperation with other EU members so we don’t get a situation as with the terror attack in Brussels against two Swedes in which the attacker had been deported from several EU countries but still remained inside the EU. She proposed the EU, or countries inside the EU who chose to cooperate on this, to open deportation centers outside of the union where all who are to be deported are moved to.
I believe that’s a good idea.

The problem with these countries "deporting" the bad apples is that they are simply handed a deportation ORDER. So really, it's up to them whether or not the will comply. In most cases, they do not and decide to move to another EU country. The government never checks on them if they did leave. They should be taken to the airport and escorted all the way to the plane's entrance. This is what happened to the attacker in Belgium. He was ordered deported by 2 different EU countries but never left.
The Swedish feminist government is busy in attacking its own native men rather than taking on the accountability to secure and put the nation's interests first.

I'm not from Europe or someone planning to move there either. But I admire their culture and generosity as a whole. Europe should become very strict in their immigration policy and should deport as much as immigrants who have failed to blend in with European culture or values. There shouldn't be any hard feelings.

I am Peruvian inmigrant. I hard studied and worked honestly. I respected the local rules even when I disagree. I collaborated with this country the best I could. Now I have a decent retirement and I am grateful with the country offered me opportunities.. So, I say that inmigration is good. Chaotic immigration NO. If the immigrants want to preserve their habits, culture and religion with no openness to the culture of the country where they are living, I said that they have no right to get in.

Above all, many do not come with good intentions. Its reality that criminals also come in with immigration.
All countries have the right to decide who’s welcome or not. And if they are welcome on what condition. An immigrant who who’s not willing to give up his culture, religion, language, etc, should stay in his/her country. Diversity is good, as long as everybody respects the host country govern, tradition, and laws. It’s upsetting for native citizens that a large group of immigrant arrive demanding rights and benefits that they have not earned.
See but that can be a slippery slope, I do understand respecting a host nation's language and culture, however in regards to religious beliefs and language that can be more fluid because as long as you learn that nation's language you're ok to speak your own at home, as long as your religious beliefs can find accomodations with those of others (i.e not impede on the rights of others as much as possible) then the argument needs to really be that cultural acceptance needs to be up to the point where accomodations are fine for everyone.
(fully) giving up one's culture, religion, and language sounds utopian to me. Learning the language and maybe even more importantly adjusting to a countries values and habits is an absolute necessity though.

As a tourist from an asian country we want to see and feel it as an European country and not flooded with undesirable foreigners. We are sick of their culture and hoping to have a few days of relief and respite when we are in Europe.
This is nice, although too late. European countries should implement a law of stripping people of their citizenship whenever they show support of terrorist organizations and such.

Its an election stunt, a lie to try to get votes from AfD. Once elected they don't intend to do anything about it, the migration operation is enabled and financed by german government and it will not change. In 2 years in power they could not even legalise marijuana, much less they are going to do anything that really matters and needs very decisive action. The clock is ticking for Germany. Elections are just a facade to keep people thinking their opinion matter (it doesn't). The press only exist to keep people ignorant about what happens to them and their country (very bad things). Deportions simply have to be taken seriously. No country should welcome criminals. For those who are well behaved and integrate, should be welcomed to stay, but troublemakers should be deported.
Good move. If the person has been rejected, why keep that person around. There must be reasons why that persons application was rejected. I think its time to look into the intentions of some of these rights groups. Society must have rules and order for it to function properly.
I know a family whose application was refused a decade ago and they were still here in Germany 4 years after refusal. They have lived off benefits the husband has never applied for a work permit which he could have done why bother when the benefits were so good.
