Beautiful images! I guess that here we have your favorite parc, too. Very calming sound. I have it on when I read my students tests! It works!!! Thank you!
I bet you could buy it online... One of my sisters lived in North Carolina and there, their favorite soda pop was called cheerwine....it was hailed as the best ever drink and they had some in the fridge chilling for me to drink while I was there visiting. BLEK-didn't like! Growing up, we would stop at the corner store after visiting my grandparents for a treat sometimes. I remember getting either NuGrape, Banana Fudgesicle, or the cinammon squareshooter suckers. Another fave was creme soda..
So funny! Yes, we MUST save for the ice cream! And oh boy at the Drive In movies! I loved going to that...I can still remember our parents making us duck down in the floor board of the back seat. I told them NO to the trunk...lol. Claustrophobia... Popcorn with lots of butter!!! What flavors are there in the Moxie Tonic...? Creme Soda, Grape, Rootbeer?? Just don't forget to remove the speaker from the window before you pull away...lol
Awesome..I especially LOVE the 6:00-6:45 sections...beautiful. Nom nom on your picnic choices... Never had chocolate walnut cookies... Well, in Texas...we call it many things...soda pop. soda, pop, "coke" (generic for all soft drinks). Some call them "fountain drinks"... Not sure how "coke" became the generic name for all fizzies...lol. And, I do NOT like mineral water like perrier water..blek. However, fresh spring water is the BOMB..we used to visit a fresh spring & get drinking water..yum
I looked it up...it's now $15 to get in...I think we will have to tie a rope to a tree and swing like Tarzan and Jane, but there will be 2 Janes this time, lucky you! I want a mushroom class...that would be so fun to look for them!!! I get excited just seeing the poisonous ones in my yard come up after days of rain..lol. So, finding some that can actually be eaten and NOT button mushrooms or portobello..awesome fun!
Shh...not now, I'm dreaming..lol. But you can go prepare the bonfire and bring some marshmallows and some of those homemade Lithuanian sausages to roast over the fire. I would love to sit on one of those bridges and hang my feet over and feel the spray of the water...& just sit and listen, but looks like the trail is quite popular with lines of people in places waiting to cross over the bridge.. I'd love to have a little cabin in the woods with a functioning water wheel...oh, & a windmill too!!
LOL...it would be a hoot...such entertainment! You could've been one of the kids on Little Rascals and fit right in...with your skinny dipping adventures and your spitting from the Statue of Liberty...lol
I sure hope my family doesn't call 911 if they see me in hunched over drooling and sleeping at my desk with headphones on one of these mornings....lol.
Well, if we sneak in through the woods, we can just go ahead and look for mushrooms too...tell them we veered off the path looking for edible fungi...lol
ROFLMBO...yep, can't afford to be truant now... Besides, it would cost you 45 bucks if you sprung for both Anna and me! That's insane... How long does it take for this hike? Better take a while for that price and do they have spots for you to sit and just enjoy the view and listen to the waterfalls?
That's awesome...so arrive early and go slow and enjoy!!! HA....you think she was looking out FOR you....or looking AT you. Tee hee..I wonder how well she obeyed...lol. Now, what would you have done if you'd gotten caught? You little rebel you....ROFL....Remind me to not ride home with you after mine & Anna's expedition as you'll totally ignore the warning signs on the roadway going home that say...stop, road ends here or zig zag curves ahead, drive 10mph and you go zip, zip in car...lol.
NO, I needed a funnel..........lmao. Rule 1. Do not listen to this if you need to visit the ladies room. Rule 2. If you chose to ignore Rule 1, have a mop handy. LOL
Oh hells bells...you spit off something way high in the air....lol. Not at my age, I'd scare the crap out of all the animals in the area and it'd be extinct and void ov wildlife...lol. I don't know...I was too timid and a scaredy cat when young..I toed the line pretty much...was NOT a risk taker. My sister on the other hand would climb out the window after midnight to go to a party..but ha..she got caught. My mom was in sister's bed waiting on her when she got back....lmao

Thanks for this. Saved me.
A beautiful area. My wife and I did this hike one day. She, likewise, is no longer with us. That day is one of my favorite memories.
