@jmvitiermusiclover I am glad you cleared this up. Only the people who grew up in Cuba like us know the real origin of these 2 melodies by Gonzalo Roig and Eliseo Grenet. Brouwer arrengements for guitar are wonderful, and I enjoy playing them but he is not the composer and that has to be clear.

@faustr120 You are 100% right. The "wizard's eyes" translation sort of takes a lot away from the song. I would translated as enchanting eyes, or bewitching eyes, or something along that line. The eyes of a woman (or a man) that puts a spell on you.
