Yeah, you're right. The top part. A littttle less confusing than Secaucus though, thankfully.

    Is trenton a safe city?

That’s a good question. It’s not the safest but it isn’t all bad. Some close nearby towns were really nice. You have to be constantly aware of your surroundings but that is becoming the case in more and more places across the country. I’ve only been there during the day and some of the worst parts I’ve only seen on UA-cam.

@@BillKing3456 Thanks..I'm planing to visit my Mom in Cherry Hill NJ from Boston. And that the nearest Amtrak Station. I usually used my car or a rental.
But want to try the train. Something different.

@@dan1769 You might want to take Amtrak to Philly and then out to Cherry Hill from there. There are 2 separate Cherry Hill stations on two separate lines - PATCO and NJ Transit’s Atlantic City Line. The NJ Transit station though, while modern, is in a weird location = behind a shopping center. You can also get to the NJ Transit Atlantic City Line by walking over (close walk, at street level) from the Trenton Amtrak/NJ Transit station to the NJ Transit River Line (kind of a diesel-powered inter-urban light rail train that runs south, through nice towns, from Trenton down to Camden) where you would transfer to the Atlantic City Line at Pennsauken and go one stop east to Cherry Hill. Check times on NJ Transit’s website (or PATCO’s).

No, you gotta be aware of your surroundings at all time. I was at the Trenton Train Station and went to check the train schedule board and this guy came out of nowhere behind me cause there was an ATM there. I didn't even see the ATM, I was checking the train board. Then he disappeared as quickly as he appeared.
