You take a look around the room, mounds of trash piled around everywhere, the wallpaper peeling off its surfaces, and the dim, gloomy ambiance of your apartment lights really set in how utterly lonely you were. With nothing else to do, you take a look at your messages. You haven't received any from your loved ones for quite some time. The only people even remotely interested in you were the spam calls you'd get every once in a while. At least when you had them, it gave you the illusion that someone would be listening to you. Unfortunately, even those dwindled overtime, leaving you with nothing but an empty void in your inbox. With nothing left to do and no one to care for you, you know what must be done. “Lost in search of the newer things” Very spooky and dissonant, like connections of a frozen web cracking underfoot. It’s all so off and yet so harmonious. Beautiful yet broken. The side quests are taking their toll.

Bruh, you're even good with microtonality (15 EDO?) despite never working with it before (or at least rarely)! Your brain is so unique, man, that's talent! Microtonal is quite difficult to compose for, and you just nailed it.
this is just intonation !! it's very similar to 12 tet, and so not a huge jump in difficulty :0 stuff like 19 tet can be a lot less intuitive for me though 😭

jokes aside, i really like this sound actually -- the off-key snippets feel distinctly outsider-y, like watching something thru the eyes of a robot trying to emulate emotion as a hobby in its offtime. not that the robot isn't feeling anything, it just feels very differently
its like exploring new styles and techniques , but you keep getting better once you learn more and more when it seems like youve already learned enough.
I've listened to this 4 times already, it's just so good. Alternate tuning systems are so cool. Now I'm off to try just intonation myself because I can't miss out on this

It has nothing to do with this but have you tried to make music a little bit more uplifting? but keeping it melancholic as the way you used to, Like soulful house or anything like that i think you would do it very VERY well 😊😊😊
