Live in West Virginia, I absolutely love Pittsburg folks, they are like a hard candy with a soft gooey filling, get past that shell and their 99.9% great people. Great video!!!
grew up in Pittsburgh and left for the military when I was 18. Been gone outta the 'burgh for 16 years and hearing this makes it feel like I never left. awesome video guys, spot on!
I know the feeling. You're not from Pittsburgh, you're from Zelie. Anywhere outside of Pittsburgh, I'm from Pittsburgh. No one knows where Cranberry or Zelie are.
Good job, guys. I liked that you didn't rely on the tired stereotypes and Pittsburghese phrases but actually went for quirky little things. I clicked like as soon as the guy said "MAINTAIN SPEED THROUGH TUNNEL."
This is hilarious. I live right on the border of Bloomfield and Lawrenceville and it's uncanny how just down the street is the hipsters and just up the street is the 'talians.
Im from the Pittsburgh area but i always speed through the tunnels haha just because im a huge gearhead and my car is really loud and I love hearing it.
i have banned my aunt, uncle, and sister to the bathroom during steelers games....this is hilarious!!! so many other references to things that just bring back all the memories of the burgh.....i want to move back so badly...there is no place like home!
@ 1:49 - Lebanon Church Road Pittsburgg -Minutes from the MALL!!!!! I lived in PGH for only a year and a half, but I heard that jingle about a million times and forgot all about it until just now!!
born+resided in pittsburgh area till 22 y.o.,and i chose to keep+ still say (+write) younz.....surprised to not see it in video.and also i have to add that strong "aaaaaa" sound = "caaaach"(couch) ,aaaaat(out).....i dropped that.
One time when I was traveling the country my ride and I stopped in a mechanic shop in Little Rock. I asked the people there "hey yinz guys care if I change the tv channel?...(wtf looks abound)..Oh, sorry, I'm from Pittsburgh."
I just read thru these posts and find it HILARIOUS that people are saying that people in the burgh don't say yinz anymore. When I lived in the burgh I think I was so accustomed to pittsburghese I didn't even know it. But when I came back home to visit I was overwhelmed with yinz, n'at, irn, danntahn, stillirs and every thing else.
I wanna come home so bad you have no idea. I have literally flown home for a Danny's hoagie on a Friday night and back out on Saturday morning toting 50 hoagies for a Pens party on a Saturday night.
"How the hell did I end up on this side of the river?" This video is my entire life
I laughed so hard when she started singing the Century III Chevrolet song lol I remember that coming on tv all the time when I was little.

Yeah that is how Pittsburgh is
#1 said phrase: "How the hell did I end up on this side of the river?!"
I was gonna say exactly the same thing.
I was told by a Police Officer who sounded Russian, "You've got to cross the river." I'm like, "But which one officer!?"
the best was, " you're not from pittsburgh, you're from cranberry.
"Turtle Creek......... Ah you mean tertle crick, yeah that's right dahn the road"
Rot dahn da reaud! 😂

Im from the Pittsburgh area but i always speed through the tunnels haha just because im a huge gearhead and my car is really loud and I love hearing it.
1:52 "No traffic on this side of the tunnel! Look at this. Look how clear this is!" I cannot tell you how many times I've said that.

1:52 LOL. I have caught myself saying that 8 out of 10 times when I come into the city on the Parkway East.
This is fantastic! I can't believe I just found this! So funny! So true!
"This used to be the steel mill" thats like 2 minutes from my house :3
Real Pittsburghers say "Penn State sucks!"

One time when I was traveling the country my ride and I stopped in a mechanic shop in Little Rock. I asked the people there "hey yinz guys care if I change the tv channel?...(wtf looks abound)..Oh, sorry, I'm from Pittsburgh."
"You shoppin' at market district now, you think yinz live in sewickley" As a sewickley resident I am offended

I just read thru these posts and find it HILARIOUS that people are saying that people in the burgh don't say yinz anymore. But when I came back home to visit I was overwhelmed with yinz, n'at, irn, danntahn, stillirs and every thing else.

I'm from Mississippi..die hard Steeler fan. Always wanted to visit the mother land. Lol.
The air quality has greatly improved, but that one made me laugh pretty hard.
LOL, we have sayings here in Michigan too. Usually with a f word attached.
"Wait, what's Star Lake called now?" Haha!
