- Sadie McGill and her mom both have three fingers on each hand. Their arms have no forearm or elbow. While Sadie has range of movement in both arms and hands, her mother is mostly limited to using her right hand.
From ordinary tasks such as getting dressed each morning to more complex maneuvers like driving a car, they adapt to finding solutions that allow them to thrive.
And they do it together.

I have a friend with the same condition. It's fun to ride around with her cause she drives with her feet on the steering wheel and almost everyone you pass or passes you looks at us like we're both crazy. They probably don't realize she has no arms but it's still funny to catch their reactions.

i saw a lady with that when i worked for the govt in the 70's, tghey said it was from a drug called Thalidomide that was given to pregnant moms in the 50's and 60's. could this be a lingering factor or changed the dna from a previous generation that took that drug?

Why have children knowing you can pass that on to them? Not to mention the difficulties just of pregnancy and raising them with your own difficulties. But why want a child so badly that you’re willing to bring one into the world with these problems? That seems selfish.

This could have been prevented by doing genetic testing through IVF. This would have allowed her to transfer an embryo that was not affected by her genetic mutation.
Ничего она же смогла и девочка сможет жить, зато этот ребенок имеет возможность увидеть прекрасную землю !
На минутку представте , что это вас родили без рук, заранее зная что у вас не будет рук или ног, что родители сознательно изначально захотели ребенка больного, зная что сломанные гены передаются. Вы бы их поняли и простили? Я нет
