It’s such a weird storytelling thing that they introduced us to the strongest archons first. Those who have existed since the beginning and played the largest part I’m shaping the world.
Actually, it makes more sense if you look at it as a legacy type story. We start out meeting old gods who are settling down. Then, we meet new deities who have taken the stand and are just scratching the surface of their divinity. In the end, we meet the tsaritsa, a god who is young enough to hide in despair, but old enough to use every bit of her power and authority with little restraint.

"Sweep the streets I used to own" is so apt for Zhongli...and not in the ways the song means. He's been the God of Liyue for 6 THOUSOUND years...and for him his greatest accomplishment is them no longer needing him as a God to lead and defend them, they, his children, can now stand alone with him. He went from God to street sweeper...and he couldn't be more PROUD of them.

Decabrian was a tyrant and there were times Istaroth and Venti worshipped together so Istaroth probably ruled mond. after or before decabrian. Also Lawrance clan took over mondstadt for a while too.
The lyrics of Viva La Vida fit the three Archons so well, and for a first time, this is really good. I'm at a loss for words, it's just so well crafted for a first time.
That was incredible. I think it made more sense for Zhongli to not get a lot of screentime as his rule was a long and stable one. Which is of course not really what the song is about. Also I should really go and rewatch all the venti story cutscenes. I barley recognized most of them

Can't wait for the archons of Hydro, Pyro and Cryo. I know they are gods, but they have human imperfections. Just done with Zhongli Story and Venti... Started with Ei. Seriously their stories are heart wrenching. They all have some form of loss.

This amv always gives me chills, the whole lore gives me the chills, I never know why, every animatic, amv, etc always make me feel strange. maybe because we experienced the story in the travelers eyes, we understand the pain, its honestly weird lol.
