The Erhu is a two-stringed bowed musical instrument which may also be called a Southern Fiddle, and sometimes known in the Western world as the Chinese violin.
The tragic fate of Obi Wan & Anakin, the battle between these two brothers in EP III was peak dramatic storytelling for me. I hope to see a lightsaber duel of this intensity again in the upcoming Obi Wan series !

As a fan, my feelings have been intense about the relationship between Obi Wan & Anakin. The shift from love to hatred... original drama of the original films... we lived it and let it to rest in peace. However, your piece, even though for a moment, rekindled those feelings. I appreciate for that.

@@ahmetdurmaz7674 The outcome was logical. The Sith where evil but also the jedi did not have perfect rules. And the jedi did see that after there fall. These brothers where both good to judge each other and only care about their own point of view. But never asked about the other because te teaching of showing emotions/weaknesses was not aloud. Starwars is a reflection of real life. Dictatorship/communism is evil but a democracy is not perfect and also has his fauls.

@@drOscarThe instrument is called Erhu. It's a traditional Chinese two string music instrument.
The erhu really has a sense of change and sadness, as if Obi-Wan himself were meditating on the days of the old republic, when it was prosperous and glorious.
2:39 is my favorite transition on this piece. It is so dramatic and emotional that it hurts. I love it!

So glad you thought about Anakin Betrayal. I personally think Anakin Dark Deeds, along with the Naboo funeral theme are one the best theme in the SW saga, i'm sure you love them too.

I grew up with my Dad playing Erhu from time to time. Now my little kids were just at the ages to be obsessed with Star war soundtracks. Never thought these two could meet each other perfectly here. Great pick, this theme! Compared to the violin, the sadness hidden is truly reflected by Erhu's unique sound and its way to express the feeling of the music.
Anakin´s Betrayal is my favorite.
This has to be the best!!!! Something about this I could listen to it all day and not be bothered by it….

Hallo! Ich kann zwar kein englisch aber ich möcht mich so ausdrücken ich finde das superklasse diese Musik mit so einem einfachen Instrument zu machen. Ich weiß nur nicht Was dies für ein Instrument ist aber das ist echt mega gemacht. Das löst bei mir Gänsehaut aus so toll finde ich das.
Dieses Instrument heißt Er-Hu, das laut Wikipedia schon seit Dynastie Tang in China gespielt wurde (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erhu). Deshalb ein musikalisches Instrument, das schon mehr als 1000 Jahre alt ist.
