- Okay so here it is...my first wargame in a series of self taught lessons on wargaming. I apologize for the length. I actually contemplated breaking this up into 3 parts and in hindsight probably should have. This kind of ends up looking like a review video, but that wasn't what I set out to do. I was just kind of sharing my impressions of everything as I went along. I'm also sure I made plenty of mistakes in here, but at some point you have to trudge on and just do your best.
I know Strike Force One is only a tiny little wargame and many say it's not even that. But for me at least, it's the first step on a path toward bigger and better games, so I wanted to give the game my best effort.

Thanks for these thorough videos on SF1. I am new to wargaming and am learning with this game also.
Thank you for sharing this excellent overview and playthrough of Strike Force One! It was great to hear your thoughts as you pushed those counters around. You've been able to demonstrate that even a simple game can, through example, be helpful in teaching the effects of advancing after combat (or not) and retreat paths. Did you know that they hold an annual Strike Force One tourney at ConSimExpo for prizes? I think you're ready! :)
Strike Force one is a underrated game for those wishing ro learn hex and counter wargaming. This game has a small footprint, minimal counters, and simple rules, and solo's very well. Nice explanation and playthrough thanks.
Hi, and welcome to the hobby. Interesting vid. I like the way you explained how the game works. I have been a wargamer, mainly solo, on and off for the last twenty years. I have a number of SPI games myself. I would recommend the FushigiTV channel for you to check out sometime. She started in the hobby only a year ago. Anyway, good luck with your channel, and have fun!
Can you scan the rules and put it on Boardgamegeek and/or direct to the print n play edition
