I dont think anyone in their right mind would be expecting Elaine to win this race coming off her injury plagued season that wreaked havoc with her ability to train. All I am hoping for is a decent performance in her quest to get back on top for Paris.

I think Sha'Carri is going to dominate for a long time. Shes young, talented and grown so much in just a few years. Now she has the experience, not just in winning but trials & tribulations and how she has overcome them. She looks and feels like a generational champion and shes proving it one race at a time. She represents the new era of runners and shes bringing new excitement to the sport. I got my money on Sha'Carri no matter whos in the race.

Sha'Carri is very buff now looking like lebron James. I'm scared she will get caught on steroids. Marijuana is a masking agent to cover them Roids...swollen upper body has nothing to do with speed just a result of steroids. The rest of them ladies look soft and feminine. ShaCarri was looking feminine just a few months ago and wasn't running this fast. Smh we are smarter than that.

I love the Jamaican sprinters, but so many of their fans get freaked out when another country's runner knocks them off. Jackson and Fraser-Price showed incredible class after being nipped at the line by Richardson at the Worlds. Fans need to chill. It is not life nor death, but a reasonable competition.

I agree with you but a lot of people didn't believe that Sha'Cari could put it together when it counted. She proved them wrong. Some people even believed that Shericka had slowed down right at the end and let Sha'Cari win in those previous races. On social media a lot of people thought that the Jamaican sprinters were setting her up only to crush her in the finals.

The reason why a lot of people did not have Sha’Carri as the favorite is because they believed that she didn’t have the mental toughness to compete against the Jamaicans. They thought that because it was her first world champs, she was going to be too scared. They thought that she “ran her rounds backwards” and that they wouldn’t have enough left to run a good time in the finals. They thought that she wouldn’t get out fast enough and not be able to catch Talou SAFP and Shericka. Also Shericka’s 10.65 made her a lot of people’s favorite, as well as SAFP’s championship mentality. I’ve always rooted for Sha’Carri so this isn’t me bashing her or anything, but just giving insight as to why a lot of people didn’t have her as their pick to win.

They spoke so much Ill of her, but she still doesn’t listen to the negative and still show up and represent. I know she’s coming back deadly come Paris 2024.
Elaine is such a strong and determine woman, imagine being the fastest woman alive over 100m, didn’t make the team due to injuries and parting ways with her coach. Came to run and was left off the team in the finals. But here she is competing against the best. She’s doing it confidently, even though the odds are against her. I love her so much.

It would be so awesome, if after 25+ years of not being touched, both SR and ETH break it at the Olympics. THAT would be unforgettable.
