Hi, where didi you got the LASER? In my RF EVO i can only inport 3D planes in FBX Files, but all downloads in the forum are made in RFX file.... how did you installed it ?
why it comes with a usb hub is because there was originally an issue that some people had when they plug the transmitter directly into their pc and the transmitter would not work. That is why Horizon started putting usb hubs in their latest packages to prevent it from happening. So I would recommend everyone who has RF Evo to plug the usb hub in your pc then plug the transmitter in the usb hub.
I have the original and it does not let me upgrade like it is supposed to. I am sticking with it cause I still can practice flying my type of plane without hurting the real plane. Love the new sound effects on the new version you have.
Thanks! You can simply access the old interface by just moving your mouse to the left side of the screen. As you can see from the video, the menu just pops up as soon as mouse is on the left side.
@@JonsRC ok, sorry for this, but what I meant was the top menu bar with the drop down menu's :) I see it very briefly appear when starting up the program but then dissapears and goed into the new interface. Not really an issue but I am used to go via there to add custom planes and helis. If you know how to reinstate that drop down menu bar, that would be great ! Many thanks.
How do you install this game? By a Code??? Because Steam as you to pay for the application, which you already purchase by buying the controller. Also my computer doesn't have a DVD drive anymore. If by a Code, where do you put the code???
Hello i was watching your video to correct wrong channel mapping. I have Realflight Evolution and an Nx8 Transmitter the software is different and i can't change to mode 2. It uses channel 3 for throttle and only the right stick is working. Please can you help me.
Nice review, the background engine wine drones over your voice and makes it hard to hear your commentary that is by far more interesting. I turned on CC :)
Cool stunt flying. May I know how is your tutorial section working? my installation cannot unlock any tutorial except the first episode. Did you encounter the similar issue?
Thanks! I did try out the F-16 80mm on Evolution. It's been a while since I've actually flown my real one but the F-16 80mm in the Evolution feels a little sluggish than my real one. My real one feels much faster and more nimble in the air. Again, it's been a while. I think I may do a whole video on that! I will compare the F-16 80mm RealFlight versus actual flight! Thanks!
If your simulator works for you, then I don't see the need to upgrade. But, if you are looking to step up to what Horizon is calling the best RC Flight sim, then the RealFlight Sim is an awesome upgrade! I know for an absolute fact that I would not be flying this well if not for RealFlight. Plus, RealFlight pretty much has all the models that I fly in real life!
These two are the same sims. The Evo is just the next version with a slightly different menu system and more models. Overall, I like the RealFlight sim than any other sims I have played with.
Hi John Not sure what tx you do refering, however, I'm using DX6i and as well couldn't get switches get to work. Only sticks and mode switch. I manage to get flaps working on Flaps switch by going to the transmitter setting, go to flaps, then adjust percentage there. Once you set that up, your Flap switch will come alive and you would be able to use it 👍 let me know if that helped. I will try to dig in a bit more to try get all sticks active so I can use retracs and smoke
Realflight Evolution has the addition of a new modern menu that makes it a tad bit easier for the user to navigate through. Horizon Hobby also added new downloadable content that adds new models from Horizon, and that comes in the form of a quarterly-year content package that you can purchase directly from Steam. Both are very solid options!
Hello I just received my RealFlight Evolution RC Flight Simulator with InterLink DX Controller. This is my first real transmitter to learn on. How do I get started? I have no idea what all the switches and buttons and knobs due. I've been flying 4 channel helicopters. I'm completely lost. I can't find any tutorials on the internet. If you could help me out I'd really appreciate it
The DX controller is the same as the DXs controller that comes with ready to fly models. Go to Horizon and read the manual of any RTF model. The default settings are the same for sim and model.
just bought that sim..i have flown som heli before..but just howering..and some planes..im like less then a amatuer..:) but will this make me learn to fly good..? gunnar
I will never touch another scrotum i mean spektrum controller. Have had 4 issues with 3 transmitters. I now use my Frsky Taranis as my controller for all my sims and its a dream to use instead of that over size cheap white elephant.
Looks like Horizon Hobby acquired Knife Edge’s RealFlight software in 2021. I did not know that Knife Edge discontinued RealFlight software in 2021. But, it looks like Horizon Hobby took over so RealFliight software is still alive!
Hi! There are actually 28 drones I counted in the Drones category. Using Steam is actually more convenient than legacy DVDs. It's easy to go from PC to PC (in case your hard drive crashes) using your Steam account without having to de-register from one PC and re-register to another PC that we had to do in the DVD days. Plus, it's much easier to keep up with updates. I use RealFlight primarily for my RC helis. My cheapest heli is about $250 and my most expensive one is about $1300. For us, $200 is a very small price to pay for not crashing my T-Rex 500 and my other expensive helis while I am attempting to learn new and difficult maneuvers. One crash on my T-Rex 500 will set us back at least $300. I have crashed on RealFlight atleast a 100 times while learning one single difficult maneuver before I was confident enough to try it in real life!
@@JonsRC My biggest concern is my slow internet. I'm using my phone hotspot for home internet so downloading large files like RealFlight might be a problem.
