It was such a missed opportunity to never have Shadow and Helen meet officially. She has more of a resemblance to Maria than Chris of all people.
Why didn't we just have her replace Chris? Like, can you imagine a show about Sonic, the fastest thing alive, and his friends, all living with a girl in a wheelchair? That would have been so much better. Her family could still be the same as Chris, it's just him that's the problem. Replace him with her!
Except Chris is kinda gone out of existence due to accelerating aging of interdimensional travel.
@@kingarthurii5001 I've actually thought about a whole AU where that happened. In it, Chris ends up dying to King Boom Boo, since Sonic and his friends don't care enough about him.
@@Silver_Sonic_23 Jesus, I didn't mean it like that! I meant more, Chris was never born in the Thorndyke family and instead it was Hellen.
@@kingarthurii5001 I mean, that is one of the parts of my AU that I'm a little iffy on. It's possible that Chris could have survived, if Helen was close enough friends with Chris to have Sonic and friends go there. The AU also starts with Sonic going to Helen's house first instead of Chris's and becoming friends with her first. The infiltration of Area 99 becomes a bit harder without the grandpa, though eventually Tails does still become friends with him. Some events play out the same, though the chaos emerald that Chris's mom got would be stolen by Rouge and Topaz instead of Eggman. I'm also not sure how Eggman acquiring all the emeralds would work. I've thought a lot about the AU.
Honestly, it wasn’t just the looks. It was Helen’s kindness and gratitude. Her words mirrored what he wanted to hear from Maria, and he got caught up in the moment.
Hellen really did remind shadow as Maria
Yeah her and Maria look like twins but don’t say the word Doppelgänger
Surprising Helen did live way longer after Chris passed away in a bad time..

Its so heart warming to see how much he really cared about Maria and he still remembers her till this day it’s so cute❤but it’s also really sad because Maria died and all he has left of her is memories and it’s really sad😭😭😭

the sonic x episode with helen was great, it showed such a nice dynamic between sonic and helen, a refreshing take from his friendship with chris, nice to still see people make stuff with helen
If Shadow didn’t die in the Arc Saga then Shadow would meet Helen and realize she resembles of Maria

It would be nice for SEGA to bring back Sonic X one day and include more of Sonic's friends and enemies from the games in several new seasons (Blaze, Silver, Marine, Elise, Black Doom, Omega, Metal Sonic, Jet, Wave, Storm, Orbot & Cubot, Yacker, Chip, the Time Eater, the Deadly Six, Infinite and Sage). Bleach has been brought back, and that means Sonic X can be too. Yes I know that the Bleach anime and Sonic X are of two different franchises but still, an anime is an anime.
Also each of the characters I mentioned above could really have interesting story sagas, especially Blaze and Silver. I'd really like to see Blaze's story of her recovering the Sol Emeralds from Sonic's world with Cream & Cheese's help and Silver's story of him figuring out how to save his timeline from Iblis permanently animated into Sonic X. Oh, and maybe we could also see Chris and Sonic using Chaos Control to travel freely between each other's worlds whenever they want.
bro now that you say it i would also love to see sonic x again especially with Silver. There's this one character from the archie comics that everyone forgot about his called Scourge the hedgehog and his basically Sonic but from another dimension where his bad instead of the constant hero. Imagine they brought back sonic x and Sonic, Shadow, Silver teamed up to defeat Scourge and his gang. Seriously search Scourge and watch his backstory, the character had so much potential and its a shame the comics died therefore sinking scourge with the whole ship
@@ErrorVrus The Archie comics ran into a lot of lawsuits after Sega fired one of their writers and in the crossfire the rights to use Scourge got lost as well as several other characters, it's likely that we're never going to see Scourge ever again

Hellen is kinda rare in the art world to me. also tells you she's under rated.
I remember in Sonic X subtitles (Netflix) ep 26 (last episode of s1) one of the subtitles said Maria instead of Helen for her speech- I only realised it once I was done with the whole show

I love Sonic X, but wow was it a missed opportunity to have Helen to be the main character. I don’t even mind Chris, but with a character that looks so much like Maria could’ve added such an interesting dynamic. Even her family would’ve made things more interesting with Sonic and his friends meeting her instead. Sonic and Helen would’ve been such an interesting character arc and development for Sonic as well.

Agree she has more personality (4D than Chris who’s just a spoiled brat) and is relatable since some of us can’t walk/ move around with our wheelchairs, plus she resembles Maria and she would be a great friend for Shadow since she reminds him of Maria.

Ok Chris shouldn’t have been the main character of sonic x honestly it should be Hellen for a couple of reasons helen is not annoying helen can somewhat be like the maria to sonic and plus it would legit be a good marketing idea but they went with the brat that literally is only good for one thing and that is being a icon for sonic x’s flaws

I feel like Helen was supposed to be like a reincarnation of Maria or a sort-of replica? What I mean is she’s like Maria all over again, instead things work out differently then what it did with Shadow and Maria.
