@@seamusellis1450 There is a one-off episode of The Good Life from 1978, filmed in front of the Queen, which features a wrap-around showing HM arriving and meeting the cast after the show which showed 110’s in use then. By the late 70s EMI announced they were leaving the U.K. broadcast equipment market (in light of planned withdrawal of trade barriers against Japanese manufacturers which resulted in a future dominance of Hitachi, Ikegami and Canon in the U.K. broadcast camera market) and were also winding down their spares department for existing models in service so both the BBC and ITV companies were looking for replacements. Link Electronics were a Hampshire manufacturer of CCTV equipment who tried to fill the gap created by EMI and whilst the 110 was not great, the follow-up 125 was a popular choice at the BBC, TVS and independent facility Limehouse. The BBC entered into a deal with Link to develop a replacement for the 125 but it is said their demands placed great strain on the project and the company as a whole succumbed to the late 80’s economic recession. The BBC were famously using 2001s at Elstree until 1990, kept going by sending cameras replaced by newer models at TVC and the regions there, combined with cannibalising ex-ATV 2001s left at Elstree when Central moved out. This is quite a testimony to the 1960s British technological design that they were still producing broadcast quality pictures over 20 years after being introduced, only being scrapped being there was nothing left to cannibalise.

"We have Anthony Daniels coming in. Do you know him?"
"Of course I know him, he's me."
I remember watching this,,, I was 7 lol!
Same! I didn't think I saw it at the time until he explains the arm 'greebly' and I had a massive flashback.
No wonder he didn’t get a response from the Junk 110 camera. It was hard enough to get a picture out of one sometimes.
Guess the 2001s hadn't long been replaced?

It would have been funny if the camera had said "E-chu-ta!"
Noel's hair looks like Darth Vader in this clip...
Now I know it, I keep seeing the silver leg!! 😂
He was a bit camp but my grandad said he sounded like a poofter 😂🤣😂🤣
Hi, I have sent you a PM about this video / Swap Shop.... hope to hear back from you. Cheers
'and I do do other things of course' - !
I remember 3po chatting to the camera, Nasty wasp calling Kenny a little man, bigger star than Daniels and Edmunds will ever be, great vid tho.
Did Anthony Daniels hate Kenny Baker yet?
I think so. I don't think Noel Edmunds hated everything else yet tho.
