So relaxing watching you talk about books and make your book spreads 😍
This is wonderful, I love the tan paper ☺☺☺
Thanks Chantelle! I love this notebook! Love to have a notebook with white paper for bullet journaling where I mostly doodle and one with brown paper for reading journaling where I mostly collage
I love what you did, february is my favorite month ☺
Thank you so much!
I really want to read The Reading List now!! These spreads turned out so pretty :) also that's an amazing tip for storing the washi tip, definitely going to start doing that
Thank you Ana! Be prepared to cry your eyes out ;)
Hello 🤗 Bujo by Filo 🌹 your reading journal pages are Awesome congrats 🎉 I'm not reading much this month as I'm doing the 100 Day Challenge and this week I'm doin the 5 day Bookbinding Challenge also enjoy your weekend ☺️🌹💌🖌️🎨📚🦄🤗❣️❣️
Wow that sounds cool! And challenging lol What's the 100 day challenge about?
this spread turned out so pretty!! i love it so much 🥺
Thank you so much!
I love your reading journal and am also in my 30’s (early) but really enjoy your videos. I will try to comment more but listening to your reviews I feel we have similar taste in books, so I’m definitely going to look at some of the books you’ve read! Tfs ❤
Aw thank you, I'm so happy to hear that!
Thanks for watching!
I also read Swordheart in February! I did really enjoy it, but I agree that Nettle & Bone is better. And now I just picked up Paladin's Grace because I wanted more from that world!
Yess, Nettle and Bone is such a great book! Do tell me what you think about Paladin's grace when you're done, I'm still curious!
Great spreads Filo !🤗🥰
Thank you so much!
@@bujobyfilo 🤗💕
Always love hearing your thoughts 🗡 I'm curious whether I will agree on Swordheart. I love the Paladin books and am currently reading the Clockwork Boys books, which I also feel like I can tell those were written earlier in Kingfisher's career and are not as engaging or polished as the later books. I still love seeing the world but yeah the characters are also maybe less my types haha Excited also to try Nettle and Bone, unfortunately the waiting list at the library is very long for that one so I still have a few months to wait
Nettle and Bone is worth the wait!
I'm curious, is Paladin's grace spicy? Or the clockwork boys?
Is it also funny? I was a bit sad that it changed so much in the middle of swordheart, but I love her humour so much!
@bujobyfilo In both Paladin's Grace and Clockwork series there was a short spicy scene near the end, before that they sometimes thought about each other that way but not much happened. More of a focus on "I like him/her but there's no way they feel the same" type of relationship, lots of pining haha
There is some grim humour in both but not really a focus I think? Still haven’t gotten Nettle and Bone so can't compare unfortunately. I found Paladin's Grace to be funnier than Clockwork series, though.
Hope that helps 🥰
i think most reviewers are probably not surprised by the spicy parts in swordheart because all of t. kingfisher's fantasy romances are pretty much like that 😅 on her website she draws a clear divide between what books she considers to be fantasies vs. fantasy romances and in my experience all the fantasy category books are more like nettle & bone with a darker mood and not really any spice, while the paladin series and clockwork boys are much more similar to swordheart with a sillier tone and a lot of the same romance tropes appearing in all of them. i do like both, but i can only read the world of the white rat books when i'm in the right mood for it 😂
Aaah, I didn't know that! I need more fantasy without romance then haha!
I'm waiting for What moves the dead, I think it's in the right category, fingers crossed ;)
In the Crypt with a Candlestick.
