"The road to success is paved with hardwork and determination. OUTWORK EVERYONE around you and you'll find that the journey becomes shorter and the destination more rewarding."
I will, thank you. Everytime you fall on your journey, stand up. Look how far you've come and keep going. Thank you for writing this comment. Whatever you may be going through in life right now, I wish you the best.
This guy is out of his mind in the most profound way. He puts himself through so much hell, just to find the strength to get through it and show everyone what's possible.
I am doing that right now. I am learning my best to read, write, and to keep meditating. I am even doing it, while trying my best not to speak in life. Every time I think of anything, I get the best answer. This is my Major.
What gave me 'confidence' - or pure drive as I term it - was my brother passing, my sister being diagnosed with a genetic illness, myself receiving terminal illness and a disability and living through hell where I literally was declared code blue, placed in a coma in the hospital on "death watch" and my family was told to "prepare funeral arrangements". I didn't let the reaper take me, I made her my companion: every time I think of giving up, I remember who has been lost and who yet may be lost. And not just them. Every soul out there on the brink, on the edge, starving, begging in the streets or hiding from bombs in rubble, I ask myself - how can I give up now? Who am I to even do THINK of that? I have pictures plastered on my wall of what's been lost, not to be sad, but for the absolutely indescribable drive to do everything I possibly can to make the most, overcome obstacles and try to prevent just one person from suffering needlessly or meeting those fates. I'm literally risking bankruptcy, I almost died twice in January and had to take off my health watch and simply focus on the next second. The next second. The next second. Just one more. Until it's a minute. An hour. A day. And through that darkness comes light, you just must be more resolved than the darkness itself. Don't become the darkness, don't live in it, stare it in the face and tell it has no place in your world or anyone elses on this planet. Hell can come for you, but I swear you can walk through it and come out armoured and driven. And to Motiversity: Thank you for making these videos and sharing them. I look forward to every time I see the notification, the only channel on youtube or any platform where I immediately stop and watch. Thank you.
I listen to this man at Gym. Coming from always being bullied told I'm weak. I went through hell and out. It's the mind, hours, years and decades trying to figure myself out. Finally I have.

I was in a similar state like you bro, keep going, this is your opportunity for greatness, you already know rock bottom of life, so everything else is gonna be easier. If you want to, you can be successfull
I’m two weeks out from my first marathon and I’ve had so much going on in my personal life recently but all I gotta say is STAY HARD! The grind doesn’t stop when shit hits the fan they DONT KNOW YOU SON!
Thankyou for existing Goggins! I just relapsed 2 days back, I was feeling like shit and scared not getting out of bed, this is what I needed, thankyou ❤️
Relapsing is okay, you just have to keep going. It's not about going clean on your first try, it's to keep trying (even if you relapse) and keep trying until you make it. You can do it!
Stumbled upon 'The Business Lie Detector'-a real eye-opener about business and success. Packed with surprising insights. Definitely worth checking out!
Anxiety and fear have really made a number on me throughout these years and I can't believe I even considered suicide once, it's something I wouldn't wish not even to my worst enemy, somehow watching these kind of videos make me wanna keep pushing no matter what, no matter how dark it gets for me, I'm not letting this destroy me.. I know i'm better than that.
F fear. Don´t ever stop believing in yourself. Some days will be terrible but you have to keep pushing through to the better days. You are stronger than anyone including yourself gives you credit for. Keep moving forward.
There is no darkness without light.. and no light without dark... choose the light. It's up to you which you focus on. Listen to the song free to decide by the cranberries and listen to the band Rebelution and reggae music. The lyrics will bring you peace and you realize you are not alone in your ups and downs. You can do this. Glad you are here. I'm glad I am here to. Best wishes
I used to grind out push-ups daily back in 2019, and 22-year-old me was in the best shape of my life. Fell off the wagon in 2022, but now it's 2024 and 25-year-old me is back on the grind! This time, I'm doing at least 50 push-ups a day and posting one value-packed video on UA-cam every day. Mark my words, 4 months from now, you're gonna see the results. Someone like this 4 months from now to keep me accountable!
I am 2 day in my weight loss Journey, it's been a struggle all my life , but when i discovered this video it all changed i will have my dream body , i will be successful ♥️🙏
Thank you for your military service David Goggins. You have helped me so much and showed me how to stay hard, exercise the 40% rule and silence the noise. Thank you.
David Goggins, thank you for giving us all your insight. You've flipped the script in our internal dialog how to deal with all the challenges that life brings. You've taught us how to overcome the hardest darkest times that we all face. Without even meaning to, You have gone from being a struggline student into a great teacher and mentor. Thank you for sharing your ways to beat any beast that stands in our path...I for one am forever indebted to you..."Stay Hard!" 👏🙌🤛💪💥💣
I will NOT ask for prayers. I will NOT be complacent and wait for life to happen. I will NOT waste my time on anyone who doesn’t respect me or my goals. INSTEAD I WILL be accountable. I WILL be mentally tough. I WILL work diligently and hard. I WILL retrain my mind. I WILL be in the top of my class. I WILL be tough on my body and mind. I WILL train to win, whether it is physical or mental. I am just getting started.
I'm glad my dad put me through hell when I was learning the trade in my late teens and twenties. It made me learn what I was capable of doing and gave me the gut fire to stand up for myself. Every day was a lesson in confidence. Now, in my late 30s I realize that these were the most important lessons of my life.
I’ve watched / listened to probably over 100 hours of David Goggins videos. This one is my favorite. 0:42 - 1:25 and 6:10 - 7:08 gives me chills every time because it’s so relatable for me. “I can’t learn the way you learn. I can’t. …But I can learn.” Almost everything I know wasn’t learned in a classroom. I have a very poor memory. I can’t just listen to something in a lecture and remember it later. The only way I can learn is by opening that book or website or video and reading / watching it again and again and again and again until I can practically recite it word for word. That’s how I learn. That’s how I got through school. While everyone else was done with their homework and having fun with their friends, I was in that dungeon still studying. But like Goggins says, it doesn’t matter if you have a disability. Most people don’t work very hard, so if you’re willing to put in the work, you can pass them.
Exactly, I almost never get things right on the first few attempts. I've told people that sometimes you'll see me fuck up 5-10 times before I get that particular thing right. Sometimes I'll have to re-read something over and over and over and over before it sticks. My comprehension is slow. Repetition is the name of the game. Which is why I custom made my own rule, Do it 100 times if need be.
Grit, Grace & Gratitude...Reflection, Mindset & Resilence. I've gone through my whole life being born with Unknown Genetic Abnormalities, struggling to survive, never mind thrive. I'm learning to have Repect, Honour & Appreciation for my struggles & my journey. I've come a long way, I've changed Negatives into Positives and *that* is the most important *Success* in my life. The ability to *Transcend & Trasform* my mind, now that really is something to be *proud* of. That's *my* Medal, my Badge of Honour (not money, or material things, not a job, status or house or anything that we're "supposed" to think of a success). This is the first time I really "get" this David Goggins. I previously only seen him "be a tough guy" and thought he was some crazy Army guy with a heart of ice. But now I get it. Thank you for this 🕉❤️🙏
