Most people have no idea how hard it is to get to the level of baseball you have achieved. I topped out at the college level and put in a lot of work to get that far. When your career in pro ball is over you can look back with your head held high! The fact that you have already played some triple A is insane. 99.9 percent of ball players out there will never even see rookie ball. Keep going River! Appreciated your comment. You remind me of Bill James saying that athletic talent is like a pyramid - for every player at one level you've got a thousand (maybe ten thousand) at the lower level.
But it's not just talent, it's determination and wisdom that also contribute to how far a player goes. Avoiding injury. Being surrounded by good people. Overcoming adversity. Grace.
No, we muggles have no idea what it takes to even break into the lowest level of minor league ball. That's why I like these videos because they give the merest taste of what it's like....

Omg franmil !!!!!. Remember last year when your team played the springfield Cardinals and before the game started they announced a team called the bombers (11-12 year olds) and each kid ran to the position they played. And franmil called this kid with long hair that played 3rd base over to the dugout and franmil compared that kid to you because of the long hair. Well that was me. Hopefully you remember but if you don’t, it is ok. It is just fun to see how franmil came so far and you to. And when I saw Franmil it was so exciting

Cool video. You have to rotate each egg as well. Sometimes they crack on the bottom and stick to the carton. By the way, it is a crying shame that any minor league ball player affiliated with a major league club should ever have to buy anything necessary to sustain life and well being. The clubs make so much money that stocking your fridge would not even show up on the accounting reports.

every day is different Jerry. But we usually get to the field around 1-2pm and we are there until about 11 everyday
