I’m reading the book right now and have shared some of what I’m learning with my spouse and it’s bringing up really good conversations rather than arguments. The book serves as a great third party that takes the heat off us and gives us fresh ideas for solutions. I just ordered my Fair Play playing cards on Amazon 5 min ago. I can’t wait!🎉
I've read this book a month ago, and I was sad that I did not read it 10 years ago, and happy that I did not postpone reading it for later. So happy there will be a documentary, and more people will have access to its great insights!
Mm, I love that little, “I don’t want to ask!” Even more difficult to ask when you have undiagnosed language processing, recall, and expression disabilities. What’s the point of asking if you have to ask every single time anyway?
I started listening to the audiobook and just bought the cards but was disappointed to see that the video was not free. Since my situation is that of a single mom living with adults sons, I’m hoping this will help. Maybe a good idea for another book!
This looks so important and timely. Why create another generation of families so out of balance.? Even in the nineties I was described as my husband's "trailing spouse" on our Visas, Motherhood can't bear the weight of the major social change of the last decades. I can't wait to see this!
Belated and slightly off topic, but you may be happy to know that I’m 30 and I’ve never heard the phrase “trailing spouse.” I don’t even know what that is. 🤷🏼♀️ 😅 So, things are changing. Slowly, but surely.
great watch! i saw me and my wife in so many of the stories. im guilty of being that husband at times especially if my wife is out with friends and trying to enjoy herself ans relax and i text, "Hey, where's the _____?" as the father, i should know this stuff. im sorry honey!!! lol
Is it propaganda to try to care for your kid equally / share the work and make your wife happy? To try to keep things fair so you can still feel loved by your spouse and your wife can feel loved after having a kid? IDK dude. Im stupid and pretty oblivious so I need structure to chores im assigned and "shifts" with my kid else im left asking questions. Working out a system like this can help.
It’s… incredible. When Eve said, “I don’t WANT to have to ask for help at home!” I lost it. ❤️

If this was around back in 2009, it might’ve saved my marriage. I feel seen!! Go Eve!!!

This looks amazing. So glad to see this work and message finding an even broader audience. Can't wait to see it!
Thanks for your unwavering love and support 😘 😘

I've been saying these things for 25 years. I guess I should have written a book.

Where will it be available? (I do not live in the USA)

YES! So excited to see this 🔥
Can’t wait to watch!
Where can we watch it ?
Were can I watch the documentary from the Netherlands?
The trailer and description fail to mention when and where to watch this. I guess I’ll have to dig.
Sometimes docs like this show up on the streaming platforms offered by my local city & county libraries [Hoopla / Kanopy, respectively].
It’s on Amazon to rent or purchase now
YES!!!!!
