I’ve been trying the stance you showed here earlier today. I could tell straight away that it’s better than what I have been using. It’s the turning of the foot that makes the difference. Thanks for explaining it so well.
Videos are always quality. Definitely to the point and the fact you are helping the darts community with these videos is brilliant. Keep em coming Dave ya legend
Thanks buddy i have to say i feel the same about your work it's improved over the years to a point your videos look very professional now and your content is brilliant. It makes me a bit sad i don't get on as much as i would like to for medical reasons but i still try and keep up with what's going on.
Cheers DD gonna put this to work on my game and hit you up for an online consult at some point. Thanks for always sharing the great knowledge legend ☺️
Hi Johnny mate yep I've looked down a few times to find my back foot has drifted out to my right and my darts then pull to the left into the 5s i give myself a good talking to and im ok again for a while.
Another great video. I have to say i struggle with aiming, never thought about aiming at a single point. Thanks. Quick question, i hear a lot about a dominant eye. Is that a thing and if so, how do i test which is dominant?
Hello Dave. I like and follow you on your UA-cam channel. I have been interested in darts for about 4 months and I am left-handed. I have been trying to buy and try many cheap dart sets, but I can't say that I could not find a dart set that fits my hand perfectly. I know weight is a relative concept. I want to buy a nice set and play with it all the time, but I haven't found that set yet. What do you recommend? Do you have a concrete set suggestion? Can you recommend a set or a few sets regarding the feeling of grip or the feeling of balance? Also, what weight should I start with? I currently have the Winmau Darryl Fitton 23g set. I occasionally participate in carrom cricket tournaments for fun. As the time progresses, my game also decreases because I don't play consecutively, matches are made depending on the board status, then I feel my arm getting heavy. I start to exert more effort and my shot naturally deteriorates. In such a case, should I return to a lighter set or, conversely, should I return to a heavier set? Please I would be glad if you could help me.
Exactly how I use my leading foot but habit of trailing foot lifting with just toe touching floor . I think in my mind I think I'm leaning forward more with idea that darts can get to board better as my darts often falling low so probably having opposite affect . I suppose if I'm back in the stance it should lift my elbow higher. Awful habit but I think years of Dartitis didn't help and affected my follow through.
I dont have words, how amazing and awful is this stance, just tried only 30 min and cant believe the result, of course I feel no confidence, but results on board speak to itself.I train darts only 3 month and I am used to lean forward with my back foot lifted supporting the stance, always put a lot of effort to hold stability. By your stance I feel body is freaking calm/firm/stable and I can focus on darts throwing technique... I bought your DD board management and cant wait what it will bring ;-) Explain me pls one thing, why so many extra class players leaning forward...? Thx
Best setup video i have seen
