Climbing Broken Top

Two-day climb to the summit of Broken Top (9,177'). What a great mountaineering adventure! A relatively short approach, absolutely beautiful ridge climb to the summit block, and just enough of a thrill at the top to get your heart pounding with a short class 5 technical climb. We camped at Green Lakes and had a glorious late afternoon swim in the shadow of South Sister. Fantastic.
