I just got from eBay a pair Wolverine 1000 mile anniversary boots made in 2014. They are made of bison. They are in new condition. I got them for 80.00. This was a steal. It’s the tan bison leather. Had to tell you. lol.
I bought a pair of red Wing 9215 Chukkas on ebay a few years ago. They look almost identical to your new boots. Mine had only been worn a time or two. Zero wear on the heels/soles. No indentation/footprints in the leather insole. I sent them to Brian for replacement welts/midsoles/Role Club halfsoles/heels. They look great and are much more comfortable than the original RW soles. I did that before I found your channel! As an old guy, I like the 4"-5" height of the chukkas as opposed to that of 6"-8" or taller boots. Just my opinion. I'm sure you will do something fantastic with those chukkas. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do! THANKS for this video

As Coleone139 has already written, the boots are very reminiscent of the Red Wings Chukka Boots. The sole looks like the Roccia sole of the Red Wing Beckman boots. I have the 100 years Anniversary Edition Beckman 1909 and the sole is already disintegrating. It eventually softens, smears, and you can push it in with your fingernails and scrape out pieces. I would recommend replacing the sole, but I'm sure you will anyway. 😁 Nice buy Aaron, the boots are looking real nice. 👍😊👍
You’re right about the soles falling on their own, I’ve seen that for years whether you wear the boots or not 😅 This particular (Roccia) is extremely thin to my taste, and to be honest I’m not a big fan of (half soles) I have about 22 pairs of boots and only one of them have a pair of Dr.sole half soles, but let’s what I come up with. Thanks, I actually replace the whole foundation, it really depends on the condition of the boots you’re buying, I’ve only bought 2 -3 pairs in my whole life, if they’re not in bad condition a mix of alcohol and Lysol should be good, but I highly recommend you to replace the inserts those boots come with. The lining of the toe looks like what is called: tecido não tecido here. Basically a polymer cloth like material. The name implies that it’s not woven. Mostly. It wears out quickly if there is any rubbing or friction. I have a pair of boots with this in the toe. I will need to take apart the boot one day and replace it one day.

I like some styles of chukka boots. I have one pair of Clarks beeswax boots, and wear them occasionally.
