I don't know if people already know this (probably) When you open a broswer and have multiple tabs you can hold Ctrl and press (any number from 1-9 it will switch tabs in the order that they're organized)
I didn't know that. It would be useful since I keep a lot of tabs open.
Great tip! 😊🌹
thanks for the tip
thanks for the tip.
Thx dude
7:53 you can also pause updates indefinitely by going to advanced options and selecting to not download updates over metered connections, then in Network & Internet, select Change connection properties and set your network as metered.
I don't think that's wise
@@topedoworks It's not, and should only be used if you need to make sure the computer doesn't turn itself off for more than 35 days. I even update my computer every night.
Im gonna keep coming back to this video for my entire life lmao. Thanks god you have a chill voice dude. Good video.
Me too. Cheers
Have you came back
@@familyguyfunnymoments5256 you find myself checking it right now

Saved to my UA-cam watch later videos. I'll be back !😉
Don't forget. Snipping tool also has the option to snapshot after 3 seconds or after 10 seconds. This lets you screenshot menus and other screens that you need to pull up manually into focus before the screenshot.
Very cool and useful tips I wasn't aware of, and I thought I knew everything. Thanks for taking the time to make this video and sharing it!
Marek P now you know everything
@@adco lol.
Omg, that calculator trick and all the conversions... how come I never heard of this until now?!
5:06 "Dictating's no longer just for third-world leaders. Now you can do it on Windows 10."
you could do that all the way back on vista but its better now
Just wow. *slowly claps*
ha ha
Another user.
Not working if i have selected language as English (India) Keyboard
Finally a decent video, for us old school windows users, I now know of stuff that I can do, to be more productive and make better use of my time doing what I’m supposed to be doing and not fiddling around in Windows forever
2:30 you can also set your "print screen button" as the screen snipping button under settings - ease of access - Keyboard (under the interaction heading) can also be found by going to the start menu, typing "print screen" then clicking on the "use the print screen key to launch screen snipping"
Dude that was helpful!
Great as always! Part of this evening will be busy with adapting some of these tips! Thanks!
WOW...mind blowing the options that are available. Appreciate this video for providing insight to options available and ease with which each option’s use is explained. I switched to Windows 10 a week ago and already comfortable with the new operating system. Looking forward to profitable and fun time learning more through TechGumbo videos!
WOW, a bunch of stuff here I did not know about..good video
*have had a gutsful of windows ten; every two days it 'updates' ...
I rarely comment on a UA-cam video. I can't help but say, I'm sooooo glad I ran into your channel. You have real tricks and tips.. And you put timestamps for each too!! THANK YOU!
You'll have to postpone your breakfast with Harry, I'm afraid.
i was finna say... they still have kmart cafes? let alone kmarts out there in the wild? lol
Like seriously 😂😂😂

One of the best videos I have seen about Windows 10 hidden features. Some features I just know that they exist. Thanks
This is probably the most useful video I have seen on Windows. You have earned a subscriber. :)
As a software engineer, I found no one else who knew about the shake trick.
Sometimes you have to shake the window for a while before it reacts. On one occasion, while giving a presentation with my desktop projected on a screen, I started shaking a window, but the damn thing just wouldn't react. The reactions from people were funny -- I think they thought I had lost my damn mind. 😁
Lol
😂🤣👍..........I just used an Emoticon tip ........windows "key" + . /period/dot Calls up Emoticons. Cool, huh? that must have been funny at your meeting.
Good stuff!! I need to go back and rewatch so I can add to the computer.
Nice tips! Would like to add also those shortcuts that I frequently use.
Win + E = Opens File explorer (show Explorer)
Win + R = Opens run (show Run)
Win + D = Hides everything (shows Desktop)
CTR + SHIFT + ESC = Task Manager
CTR + ALT + DEL = Lock / Switch / Sign out / Task manager options in one view
@@AzkinyteOMG, life saver tip, thanks!

Amazingly Helpful!! Includes some of the stuff I've been thinking about looking up on the internet..👌
this channel deserves more than a million subs
it got now
Thanks, bro... there are always at least a couple of new things that I use when you do videos like this... much appreciated. 🙏
Good demonstration video, so thanks for posting. I've been on the fence about switching from macOS to Windows, and this video helped. I have physical limitations, so the dictation feature with improvements is useful to know.
I hardly explore these features in Window 10. Now that I know what it is capable of doing, I am impressed. Thank you for sharing.
That file explorer opening this pc , you had me there , thanks
Fantastic video! Learned a thing or two. Thank you
Thanks for sharing so much info. I never knew there were so many different apps available already with Windows 10.
I love that windows has so many shortcuts available to pc users. I do wish Microsoft would have a location that these were viewable for everyone to see. If I had a certain use for shortcuts I would only know them if I searched for them myself.
first tip is the most needed feature. Subscribed via this video. THANKS
Awesome content! haven’t used windows in years but just got it in the last month. Thanks for the video!
Tickerideas Motivation what did you use mac or linux?
CristianBogdan1 Mac mainly and on a older laptop I ran Linux mint for a developing server for my house
you have some of the best video/sound production on your videos and content that's really useful... THANK YOU
That's a great content! Thanks for taking time to make this video. I have much more understanding windows now :)
As always, you have provided us with excellent tools. Some I was familiar, other were new to me. BTW, Love Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Just made it through a major part. Thanks again and stay healthy. bob 😎
Brilliant video mate. Full of useful stuff I never even imagined you could do and really easy to follow. Top Man!!
actually some tips there I didn't know yet. thanks for sharing
I wish they had a slidetorestart as I hardly ever shut down but have to restart sometimes due to updates.
Various screen capturing has been available for quite some time and can also be made really easy. Preferences -> Accessibility -> Keyboard, then scroll down where you can enable this feature for PrintScreen button.
A decade of reading random tips about Windows 7, and the first ore (Aero Shake) I had never heard of before. That was interesting.
This guy gives me hope that at my old age I, too, will be able to do that. This SHAKE thing..........well, my new "hello Moto" cell phone showed me how to Shake it and my search light comes on!!! WOW.....and shake again to turn it off..........MY GOD I called four of my friends to tell them. THEY too were excited. Hard to hold on and SHAKE things at our age too. So we use bottle opener grippy things to hold the phone! Love these tips!
An absolutely awesome video, I didn't know about half of these 👍
Thank you so much, i don't have any idea about the windows 10 features and shortcuts, thank you for making this video.. 👌
I cant help my directioner self when he typed harry larry for the calendar thing KNDJDJRBF😂😂
I've waited for quite a long time for a video like this
Thanks teck guyyy
I never realized there was a way to use the calculator for dates. I just used it to find out how many days there were between Mar 2 and Apr 21--very cool. Thanks! Excellent video BTW.
you just solved 3 issues that have been bothering me for a while now thanks man keep it up
Excellent, just moved from Mac and its all alien to Me at the moment, Thanks bro
@Steamed Hams once I did a few tweaks like the quick view with space bar and sorted the icons on the bottom its 80% like mac now. The only thing is there is a lot of faffing about just to do something and the search bar isn't great. Its amazing having an SSD though and I will keep my mac on high sierra 16gb ddr3 ram for now but if you have an SSD its like having more ram anymore. You?
The word Pad thing is great! Saves time.
bro i needed this so bad, the emoji menu is the one i have been looking for, thank you!!!
I definitely switch audio devices from the taskbar a lot, usually switching from my sound bar to Astro A50 gaming headset, but I also find that Windows 10 is good about automatically switching to a headset when I plug it in. For example I can plug a headset into my Xbox One Controller, which is connected wirelessly via the proprietary dongle, and Windows automatically switches to the headset the very moment it's plugged in. Saves a lot of time and it's a great feature.
I'm aware a lot of people aren't fans of the dongle, but it's far less input lag than Bluetooth(though wired USB is best). Also some older controllers, like the Xbox One Elite, require the dongle to be used wirelessly on PC. Plus I leave plugged in for those games which are easier to play with a controller.
awesome tips dude. Keep it up :D
to open cmd in admin mode hit win key, type cmd, ctrl+shift & enter
You're easy to learn from! I'm NEW to Windows 10. Scary. I was SO thrilled to learn how to call up Emoticons. Windows key and period/dot. WOW....so that lead me to keep on with your lessons. I'll choose you for lessons. THANK you for all these you covered in this video. ALOT of them I will do. Nite Lite and anything for glare. MANY of them I'll do. right now. THANK YOU.
Amazing video TG! I never knew about any of that stuff. Thanks so much... 👍👍😉😉
Thank you! Very useful tips, as always!

Wonderful. A few tips will be a bit trying for me since I am currently paralysed on my right side, but I will endeavor. Great and VERY useful tips. Thanks.
best video on tips and tricks i have ever seen, keep rocking bro. 😘
Hey, TechGumbo I love your videos! such epic content. Do you perhaps have any new videos or tips and tricks for video conferencing? I am sure that this is becoming more and more relevant with earth's current status.
Thanks a million
I loved the shut down short cut. Very amazing!♥
'preciate the timestamps in the description makes the video much more useful than just going through all the tips!
Love your channel. Been a subscriber for awhile now but I just recently upgraded to Win 10 and your videos such as this one as well as all your other videos are extremely helpful and really interesting. Thank you especially for including info and tips for accessibility for visually impaired. This is very helpful.
GodMode! Now that's what I was missing all this time. Thnx 😀
Bookmarked and shared with the IT team . Thanks for this.
Thank you!! Loved 'Win + H' feature.
Godmode! Ha! How epic! And i only just learned about it. Thanks fpr the tips!
and im here doesnt know anything about the settings that shows in the God mode settings hahahah
Techgumbo... you are hilarious in this one!!
I just upgraded from windows 7.. I love it! I wish i did this years ago
Sir, I discovered your channel recently and I've been enjoying your good work. Please keep it up.
Windows+D and Windows[+Alt]+M are two shortcuts I could not live without
What does Windows +alt+M do? Not working for me
Pure Electron Oops, I meant Windows+Shift+M, which restores all windows after minimizing them with Windows+M
the screenshot trick is very useful to me. i only prt sc then paste to paint then crop. lol been doing that since 2009 :D
Win+prtsc is much much better... as it automatically saves screenshots in pictures folder.
5:00 Slide to Shutdown. You can double click the top half of the screen bar (above the notification) instead of dragging it down. Quicker and easier, especially if you're tired.
Thank you very much for your time and for giving very clear directions.
I'm here because I was told Windows 10 has a number of useful features.
You should upgrade Windows 10 to Kubuntu
I came into this video not expecting to learn anything like with most videos, but almost everything was useful and new! Thanks!
Great vid - thank you for always brill contributions - your 'slidetoshutdown' is cool...do you have a version that puts computer to sleep?
This is an outstanding video! I'll be using and referring to the tips in this video often.
😍 test. WOW its works (The emoji menu)

The best UA-cam recommendation ever, this video is so useful, I did know some shortcuts that I use a lot, but now I've learned some other more, thank you.
OMG.. Thanks a ton.. its truly illuminating..
I hated that quick access file on explorer and wanted default windows explorer look. now I knew it.
Great video, thank you for the time & effort. By the way where do you get your amazing wallpapers. ?
the most helpful video ever seen in youtube
At first, I thought you were just going to give us some lame tips and tricks but I was wrong and impressed.

W0W! How could this Not be Useful; *I'll Pass it On.* Thanks!!
5:25, amazing.
0:38 WTF!
1:50. I don't see this feature. ..the part where you can set an event reminder . Windows 10 pro 64 bit 1909 ( build 18363.720) ftr.
7:11 = the MOST useful and beneficial item imo. Sincerely, ever since I learned about this, I've been able to start at/use my PC for easily double or triple the time with either the same or slightly less eye strain worst case.
Just wish redshift on linux was as intuitive and as easily "strength" adjusting.
Thankyou so much!! I just wanted to explore more about my win10 desktop..
i learnt a lot of useful stuff here. Thanks man 😉👏💛
Nice!
Awesome tips & tricks for Win 10! Hey from Shreveport/Bossier City, La.
Wow wow! Excellent informative video, thank you :)

@@kimaya.3563 ME TOO!🤣🤣🤣
15:56 for those who prefer keyboard shortcuts that's Ctrl + Shift + Esc
Yeap...opening Task Manager using that hot key combo has worked since the xp days. I still use it to this day.
@@motoryzen in XP you use ctrl+alt+del.
Some really useful tools and features. Thanks!
Very interesting. A lot of these tips were of some that I'd probably wont use but for the rest I'd say would come in handy. Thank you!!
7:39 how do you view that window?
You install PowerToys and then after installing, hold down Windows key, that will pop up
Or just install Kubuntu
That is the best story i ever heard in my life
THAT was very helpful.Thank you!
thank you, this is really useful
Love your tips and tricks, TechGumbo, but I suddenly got depressed when you said your mom got outta prison amd got ran over by a train.
