I don't know if people already know this (probably) When you open a broswer and have multiple tabs you can hold Ctrl and press (any number from 1-9 it will switch tabs in the order that they're organized)

Don't forget. Snipping tool also has the option to snapshot after 3 seconds or after 10 seconds. This lets you screenshot menus and other screens that you need to pull up manually into focus before the screenshot.

2:30 you can also set your "print screen button" as the screen snipping button under settings - ease of access - Keyboard (under the interaction heading) can also be found by going to the start menu, typing "print screen" then clicking on the "use the print screen key to launch screen snipping"

Win + E = Opens File explorer (show Explorer)
Win + R = Opens run (show Run)
Win + D = Hides everything (shows Desktop)
CTR + SHIFT + ESC = Task Manager
CTR + ALT + DEL = Lock / Switch / Sign out / Task manager options in one view

As a software engineer, I found no one else who knew about the shake trick.
Sometimes you have to shake the window for a while before it reacts. On one occasion, while giving a presentation with my desktop projected on a screen, I started shaking a window, but the damn thing just wouldn't react. The reactions from people were funny -- I think they thought I had lost my damn mind. 😁

    Tricks:
Click Desktop, Hold Shift key with a desktop icons first letter, then click the Enter key - result: Open it.
I.E: Shift + D - Discord, unless you have another icon that starts with D, click D again to select different app beginning with D
    Ctrl A = Select All
    Ctrl A + Ctrl C = Copy all that's selected
Ctrl A + Ctrl C + Ctrl V = Select, Copy all that's selected and to paste it
I.E: Notepad - Let's say you typed 123, Ctrl A to Select it all, Ctrl C to Copy it all, Ctrl V to Paste it (Works with images)
    Ctrl key + P = Print function
Ctrl S = "Save As" function, example uses: This tab's video title will be what the key function thinks you'll save
Ctrl W = Close tab in Internet Browser (Warning: Different use in other apps)
    Ctrl R = Reloads webpage.
Ctrl E = URL is wiped and based on your default Web Searcher, if it's Google, it will say Search Google, otherwise it will be Search Bing (Warning: Different use in other applications).
Ctrl K (Same function as Ctrl E)
Ctrl T = Opens new tab in Web Browser
Ctrl U = Use mouse to select a path of words, use Ctrl + U Result: Underline selected path of words (Don't worry if things are still underlined, use Ctrl + U again to remove underline)
Ctrl N opens the Web Browser but on a new page, there will be a new tab in it
Ctrl L copies your web browsers typed in URL
Ctrl H = Opens Web Browsers History
Ctrl F = Opens a blank box in Web Browser, used for typing words you want to find.
I.E: If 123 is together anywhere on a page, typing 123 will make your Web Browsers scroll function be led to it
Ctrl G (Same function as Ctrl F)
Ctrl D = Edit your Favorites URL name, and the folder location
Windows logo key + 1 to 9 selects the taskbars icons
If your taskbar has only the Folder icon (Windows Explorer) Using Windows key + 1 will make Windows explorer open, all other taskbar icons will be opened down from 2 to 9, 0 doesn't work though.

I definitely switch audio devices from the taskbar a lot, usually switching from my sound bar to Astro A50 gaming headset, but I also find that Windows 10 is good about automatically switching to a headset when I plug it in. For example I can plug a headset into my Xbox One Controller, which is connected wirelessly via the proprietary dongle, and Windows automatically switches to the headset the very moment it's plugged in. Saves a lot of time and it's a great feature.
I'm aware a lot of people aren't fans of the dongle, but it's far less input lag than Bluetooth(though wired USB is best). Also some older controllers, like the Xbox One Elite, require the dongle to be used wirelessly on PC. Plus I leave plugged in for those games which are easier to play with a controller.

I never realized there was a way to use the calculator for dates. I just used it to find out how many days there were between Mar 2 and Apr 21--very cool. Thanks! Excellent video BTW.

Every one of your *_tips and tricks_* videos gives me at least 2 or 3 tips that help me be more efficient with my computer. Thank you!
However, I do notice that some of my Windows 10 menus look different different than what you show. For example, When I click Windows Defender I don't see a *_Ransomware_* option. 😏

Perhaps because you're using another security app?
      I use MalwareBytes-which includes anti-ransomware-and I don't see the Defender ransomware either.

I had to use Windows XP for 4 years to ignore the annoying update of this operating system popping up on peoples old computers running 7 or 8.1. But now when I get the older programs to work on windows 7 i'm going to be upgrading from XP to that system.
I never got a virus on my computer when I used XP after support ended for it for 6 years.

1:50. I don't see this feature. ..the part where you can set an event reminder . Windows 10 pro 64 bit 1909 ( build 18363.720) ftr.
7:11 = the MOST useful and beneficial item imo. Sincerely, ever since I learned about this, I've been able to start at/use my PC for easily double or triple the time with either the same or slightly less eye strain worst case.
Just wish redshift on linux was as intuitive and as easily "strength" adjusting.
