Thanks Danielle for the lovely tour. Your garden is so beautiful & filled with color still , the library looks so sweet in the background with the lights on & inviting fire place. Till next time 😊
YOU and your garden are such a breath of fresh air for me! I found you and your channel, and Instagram about two years ago; I am so in love with the inspiration that you share! I have used many of your tips, written down the plants and flowers that I love that you’ve shared, and am constantly inspired by you! Thank you Danielle for all that you do and share with all of us! ❤
Hi Danielle, hahaha of course you planted some amaryllis bulbs already. Who could resist!! I'm really looking forward to seeing those in bloom and fast forward to spring to see your tulips in bloom!! Your spring garden is spectacular. Your fall garden looks amazing too! Love the pops of color. Looking forward to the surprise you mentioned for your garden. Thanks for the tour. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. 😍
Danielle here in Greece it has been raining for many months. The zone in my city is 8b. Danielle this red foliage of the tree it looks wonderful so many fall colours !!!! So, so, so gorgeous garden ❤😊 Thank you for the tour
I haven’t been watching your videos ONLY because I need them to get me through zone 4 Northern Canada winter! I plan on binging on a cold December weekend with some hot chocolate & a notebook for planning. Xo
Your garden looks beautiful Danielle! Love the splashes of red and yellow. It’s been a very dry summer in central Illinois where I live too. We actually got very little rain all summer. Halloween we got an inch of rain finally and it’s supposed to rain Sunday, Monday and Tuesday here. I wondered if you planted any amaryllis yet. 😃I have one that’s just about ready to bloom. I was at Tractor Supply here and they had just gotten in some beautiful bare root amaryllis and they were $8.99 apiece! The ones I ordered in the mail are starting to come in also. So exciting! Looking forward to future videos from you.
Danielle, your garden is so lush despite the drought. My hydrangeas crisped in early September and most o f them look like kindling. 😢 You continue to inspire me-maybe my garden will look a little more like yours next year.
Great autumn colors in your garden. In this video I appreciated the boxwoods around the keyhole garden and can see it providing interest in the winter while other things are sleeping. You picked out beautiful tulip bulbs!!!
It is amazing how quickly you accomplish you project! Kudos to you. You are thinking about purchasing the rug for the book nook, have you considered buying a round rug since there is a lot of straight lines in the space already, plus it would solve the concerns of clearance for the door. The garden looks amazing and so relaxing.
Hi Danielle. I am new to your channel and love your garden space. I seems we live int he same PA zone and I’m excited to learn from you other plantings I can use. Can you share more about your red trees on the back fence line? I’d love to do the same.
You might just want to run a little bit of stain inside at the top of your raised beds. I made the mistake of not doing that and as soil level drops the wood almost glows where it isn't painted
Yes! I was going to suggest that too. The soil never ends up all the way to the top consistently. Stain that upper inside section before you fill it up with soil.
Have you ever considered planting “Callicarpa Americana”?. It’s a beautiful flowering shrub with cascading branches. Mine right now has turned a beautiful lime green with clusters of purple berries. It’s a show stopper. It’s also called Beauty Bush. 12:18
Lovely fall color! Looking forward to my Burning Bushes getting bigger, such a great backdrop. Now the red/orange along the walk is fitting with the autumn hues. Your videos are so relaxing and inspiring! Great garden tours!
I’m always so inspired by your garden. Just in the last couple years, I’ve really started using a lot of hydrangeas right now. I’m in the creating stage. There’s a lot of blank spots and a lot of weeds that grow up. Very frustrating but I think I’m taking this year and those open spots to burn the weeds just slightly it says it’ll go to the roots And then add more perennials, but I did have a question. Has anyone ever had their daffodils bloom twice? I have blooming daffodils right now in Michigan zone six have a great day everyone.
Beautiful fall garden! Would you show us how you plant and place the bulbs in pots? Do you used plant cans or ornamental pots? Do you sink the pots? If not, what does it look like in winter? You have so many great ideas and I love how you do it on a budget. Can't wait to see you plant the amaryllis-you mentioned soaking???
Do you have irrigation in your landscape? I’m considering adding some for our shrubs (mostly hydrangeas & roses). It’s been so dry, that most of my hydrangea blooms turned brown early
👋 Good morning! I just have one question. What is the name of that beautiful blue conifer at the 5:00 time stamp? It’s my favorite view of the fall garden, the contrast against the red behind it. At the very start of the video it’s all I noticed. Beautiful fall colors. Thanks for sharing 😊
Hi Danielle, question for you. I'm in 6A Connecticut and want to plant tulip bulbs in my pots now for spring color. I'm just wondering if you think they'd survive or maybe they'd freeze and not come up in the spring. I've seen you plant your bulbs using the lasagna method but I just want to use straight tulips. What do you think my chances are of the tulips coming up surviving our cold New England winter weather?
So beautiful 😊 Love fall gardens😊 My Blue Birds & Mocking Bird love eating my Beauty Berries 😊 Check out Ballard Design for indoor/outdoor carpets. Have one in my front hallway and have enjoyed that it’s washable 😊 With a dog especially 😊 When visitors compliment me on the rug, I tell them that it’s washable & they always bend down to touch it😅
What tools do you use for bulbs? I have a bulb planter from Bully Tools but really it is a 2 person operation. I also have a soil knife for small bulbs but my wrist gets sore after planting 200. Will you show us what you use?
I’ll share that I use… a ProPlugger and it definitely makes the task easier. It doesn’t always work well on very dry or tough soil though. I’ve tried the augers and they just fling chunks of clay everywhere and then there’s nothing left to refill the holes.
I also have clay soil (full of stones 🙄) - once I dig out a broader area to mass plant, I like to use a mini pick-mattock (Fiskars makes one) - makes quick work of making lots of small holes
Grace enjoying the run of the garden!!!! Your gardens are beautiful!!
So very beautiful! Your garden truly shines in autumn. 🍂
Beautiful 💛 🍂 🍁 😍
Gorgeous walk. Thanks for
Thank you, Danielle for another beautiful video. Totally what I needed this morning. Watching with my cup of tea. 💙💚💛🧡❤️🧡 Liz from California

So lovely in autumn! I don't know about you, but I love how long snapdragons stay in bloom. They do well for me in part shade as well as full sun.
I’m going to try your idea of putting things in pots and then placing them. Such a great idea! Thank you!

Hi friend! I believe it’s a Pinpoint Blue False Cypress.
@ thank you!

Since you are the "queen" of hydrangeas what specium would you suggest for lovely flowers and size 3-4 ft? I'm just getting in hydrangeas.
Hi friend! Are you in the southern or northern US? Will this hydrangea by in full sun, part sun, or shade?
❤🧡💛

Hi friend! This is my favorite bulb planter - amzn.to/4hoJjKJ
I’ve tried a few others, but that’s the only one I use now.
