I have ran my shredder on 6s with the stock motor. Used a heat sink or fan... I watched the Temps because it did get hot... oh boy did it. Love the shredder video. I have found the diffs to be very strong. I have replaced my center diff and used an earthquake motor mount to use different motors. I have destroyed the rims though from crashing. I've reinforced the front bulk head due to crashing. Lol. It eats tires on 6s.
It is a big truck and very stable due to its length. To bad there really arnt many upgrades for it. I have found some earthquake parts do fit. I have old videos on my channel on it.
Yea, I have a 21 T I was gonna try, after the 19T but you see I never made it that far lol.. If I'm right I think for about $120 total I can get a pretty good ESC and motor combo, and do a fix to the differentials that will allow them to hold up, I only wanna do upgrades that you guys can go try also if they work out for me.. And I'm trying to keep the build cheaper than a stock xmaxx or Kraton.. Thanks for watching..
@@williamblanks8500 go with the Armma center diff, change tires check fluid in diff they come very low from redcat check out the shredder videos should help you on your build nice truck for 4s.
@@k9chance250 Thanks for the input, any recommendation on which tires to go with? I'm working on the diff issue as we speak, I saw a few videos that switched over to the armma center diff but there aren't any really easy ways so I'm working on a different way to approach the problem, that's what the next video will be about, not sure if its gonna work out yet or not..
Right on man. My daughter has the Volcano from Redcat. But yea, curious to see how fast you go with it!
Thanks for watching..
