- Wow. Footman Skip, new Herbology route, just a bunch of everything coming together for this one. The only thing that I didn't like was the stupid amount of encounters hit throughout the whole run, but overall pretty good.
Glad this game still gets some love! One of my favorite gbc games to this day

The new glitch with the select button you used several times throughout the run is very interesting. How does it work and why of all things does it also change the music tempo? Btw, under 1:15 is an astonishing milestone to have just passed, congrats!
Select Glitch is very simple. All you have to do is press the Select button as you walk to a transition. It allows you to skip over boss encounters and walk past triggers, basically you can't interact with anything at all until you either press Select again, pick up an item in the overworld or hit a random encounter that brings up the tutorial for fighting. As for the music, I have no idea but you can keep reactivating it and make the music unrecognizable.
@@SuperMonkeypotato So when the select menu is out it sounds like a flag is set to make a lot of things intangible, and going through a door at the same time as pulling up select retains the intangibility property?
Basically, yes. It was funny because that was found during a glitchless run of all things. Not even an intentional find.
