- Located 11 km west of Kenilworth and 40 km northwest of Maleny in the Imbil State Forest, you'll find the Charlie Moreland Day Use & Camping Area. In this video, we explore the grassy open forest nestled close to Little Yabba Creek and surrounded by native pine plantations. Join us as we take a walk, eat a delicious picnic and even take a dip in the creek!

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Queensland and sharing everything our beautiful State has to offer!
We do our best to post our videos fortnightly 😊

We are in the uk watching this -2 degrees. Packing everyday now to can’t wait to get to Brisbane I love the Australian bush and especially the birds. Not sure which area to go for we are starting to think of retiring. Love the areas you visit and marking them off on my to do list I love Paul’s “happy face” when he has something good to show and eat we always laugh. It’s my shopping face. Lol

Oh Beth, that was so beautiful 😊. I had to laugh at you paddling in the stream ❤😅❤. That's just what I do when I find some fresh water to paddle in. Paul was the lucky one this time 😅. He got to swim. You looked exhausted, so hot you looked as if you'd had a swim too. Thanks for such a lovely video, I only wish we could have been there sharing your day out ❤😊.

I used to live at Maroochydore at SC. Every other weekend hubby and I would drive to the hinterland, go for walks or explore. There was this awesome Buddhist temple hidden away up on a hill but cant remember where. So peaceful and quiet. Now we live in Malaysia with lovely nature parks to walk and hike but it's too humid sometimes😅 Imbil seems lovely. Thank you so much taking us along.

Donna and I would love to walk that 1 1/2 km trail..... but not in that heat and humidity!
You've shown us so many beautiful towns and natural places in your area. We'll hopefully manage to go to a few of them when we come to Australia for the month of May,
Don’t worry, there’s no humidity in May, but lots of sunny days ☀️ The weather here is getting cooler with the change of season….20c overnight and days of 27c. Have a great weekend!

beautiful places iam reily jealous alison ,john he is still going 98 yrs old he had a bad fall this week but iam careing for him taking him to the loo ,making his dinner shopping .he said he wished he retained his australian passport but he was born in 1926 over in australia .you both make australia so tempting for living or a hoilday one day

Hi Patricia 🤗 There’s a sign to turn off the Maleny Kenilworth road onto a bitumen road and yes, it does turn into a dirt road not too far down. The swimming spot is very close to the picnic area and car park. Does that help at all?
