This is a fun story about people getting drunk and making stupid decisions. Mostly about some of the time I spent in Greece. Thanks for watching and enjoy.
@CinesterCharlie that was a good story, I'm gonna check out your other story because I haven't seen it yet, funny enough when I think greece I usually don't think american hating communists lol It's surprising to see how anti-american they are I guess
Well, you gotta remember this was in 2005 - 2006, so people were upset about that whole Iraq thing lol. Wasn't a very popular war. But, Greece has always had a communist party around.
yup, the 20s are incredibly good to get wasted, the body endures the bad and the worst of our choices, i don't recommend it but those are good years to take advantage of it
The Cretan camouflage scene from Good Morning Vietnam, it’s a real thing. But I didn’t get closer than Rome and Naples in 2009. Every place had Vespa and little mopeds.
Crete was a lot of fun. Probably some of my favorite memories from being in the navy. Great place for a first duty station. I went to Naples for the softball tourney I was talking about.
@@CinesterCharlie you’re right about the food being different. I haven’t had a great gyro since Rome. But nobody feeds you better than the Italian people in Naples.
First Comoros and now Crete. Where will you take us next, Charlie? Okinawa? Kenya? Italy? What's the next stop? You almost need a world map behind you so you can put a pin in each place you tell us about, lol. I look forward to your next adventure 😁
Sounds like Greece is a real piece of work of a country, though that's what a collapsing economy can do. You would never hear of proper communists in Canada being all that ballsy, instead they'd just express being communist and that's it. Unless of course they happen to be on the internet, then they get very ballsy.
@@irystocrattakodachithatmooms Communism in Greece was pretty well established. It's still a legitimate political party in Greece from what I understand.
It feels like one minute video, I didn't realize it's already 10 minutes. good story 👏🏻
Hey thanks. I'm honestly not sure if I'm rushing through these stories or not. I've got a few of them though.
@@CinesterCharlie Not too rushed, the story can get into my head easily.
Cool. Thanks.
I looked at my notifications and saw this one and was like ok I'm intrigued
Lol I assure you that it is not clickbait.

A true Buffalo Bills fan would have held the spew for when the cab arrived at base. 🤣🤣😎
Somehow drunk stories are always fun to tell when you don't end up crippled for life
@@AnotherCrazyClown Yeah, they are fun stories when you're in your 20s. It would be weird if I was still doing that stuff.

Kenya sounds like a great story for the cinestar files.

I should probably put a map on the green screen. Thanks for the suggestion. We'll see.

@@CinesterCharlie We do technically have one in Canada, though pretty much only on paper. I'm not sure if it's even on the ballot during elections.
Do you remember what team you went against when you were in softball team? Is it also a military team or just locals? (I enjoyed the story!)
It was a military team. We played a couple of army and air force teams.
Barry always up to no good.
Oh Barry and his ways.
hey, who hasn't??
Yeah, I'm very basic.
