    Здравствуйте 🎉 как вы наносите на дно изделия глазурь , чтобы она не приклеилась ко дну печи ?
    Благодарю!
    Замечательные работы ❤

    • @PotteryCrafters
      @PotteryCrafters  6 місяців тому

      Здравствуйте 🎉Спасибо. Какую бы глину ни касалась дна печи, ее необходимо очистить от глазури. однако подглазурная глазурь может касаться дна, потому что в ней недостаточно флюса и кремнезема. Но будьте осторожны и не наносите его слишком густо. Если вы хотите застеклить дно, этот пост поможет. Вот ссылка для вас. potterycrafters.com/how-do-you-glaze-the-bottom-of-pottery/ 😊

    Marie, great work as always. The first bowl, how many coats do you normally use for base and the over glaze?

    • @PotteryCrafters
      @PotteryCrafters  6 місяців тому +1

      Thank you Bob. I mainly pour my glazes on except for clear glazes because they need to be thin. If brushed on it would be 3 coats for the base and 4 coats for the rim. 😊

    Thanks for sharing! That marble glazing is very interesting! I sure would like to know how you keep the rims of your handbuilt mugs in the round? They are beautiful.

    • @PotteryCrafters
      @PotteryCrafters  6 місяців тому

      Thank you, Audrey! I smooth the rim and use a funnel that is smooth on the outside. I have a set of 4 for different size rims. Here is the link for you to check it out. geni.us/d8b2RS0 😊

    Hi Marie, Thanks for the new videos. I am just now starting with Amaco pint glazes. I am going to pour and dip when I can (thanks to your advice) and am a little nervous about glaze thickness. They seem so thick, the little bit I have used. The glazes at the studio I go for classes are dipping and very thin and the owner isn't much help with these pint glazes. I was wondering how important, when not using fluxes, is it to brush on more than 2 coats? Thank you!

    • @PotteryCrafters
      @PotteryCrafters  3 місяці тому +1

      Sounds great! You will not have problems with the stable glazes. Be carful not get the flowing glazes too think or too close to the bottom. Yes make sure the glaze is not too thick. You can add up a an eight of a cup of distilled water to a pint of Amaco glaze. I pour and only dip the rims. Here is a good demo glaze video ua-cam.com/video/yk77b-JSf3Y/v-deo.html 😊
