Hey Tony, this may be your best upload yet you have published to UA-cam. You recd me the Dynquattro and I couldn’t be happier. I also took a chance on the Juzears 61Ts and have been blown away by its hybrid coherence and performance. You are so right about the Dynaquattro being a pig for power. My Q15 and my Gryphon have no problems driving them though. I hope you are doing well my friend. Many thanks to you and all you contribute to the community. 🎻🎻🎸🎸🙏
If you can choose one, which would you pick between the 61T & Dynaquattro? I use the ibasso dx180 with a library of 80% rock/metal the rest a lil of everything. Thanks
@@akros9333 Great news. BTW, ordered and got recently Night Oblivion Butastur based on your review, and I am still under impression how precise your overviewed them and their strong sides like details and balance and bass clarity - everything is so true. Would be great to hear about your new king of BA IEMs.
Nice review as always Tony 😎 The Dynaquattro is a nice dd iem , sorry for the case included for the price one pays for this💀 Plz, review the Sgor Luna, a new channel called Audio Amigo reviewed it and sounds (pun intended) like a banger!
Damn straight on the car design analogy there, Tony. Automobile designs have become dull, sanitized of any character, flacid, and most of all, their disposables. Cars, back in the days, were built with the intention to make it last a lifetime. And they actually do(as long as they are properly maintained). I don't see any of today's cars, no matter how well you take care of it, still look good after 10 years; much less 5.
By the way Tony, i'm in a bit of a quandry right now. For overall price-to-performance value, which would you pick between these two: Letshuoer S08 or 7Hz Five? I wish i could get these both, but budget won't permit me(at the moment). Wanted the Five to make it the "antithesis" to the Legato(as sort of like a back-story to my collection). But, i'm also looking to get my very first planar magnetic IEM, and given that the S08 is the price-to-performance winner among planar magnetics right now; and given that planar magnetic drivers seems to have finally reached its plateau, so safe to say the tech is waiting for the next leap(and this might take a while). Sure could use your 2-cents. Thank you very much, in advance!
Great video! I know Dynaquattro is different tech to the Butterfly 61t and the Moondrop Crinacle Dusk but is it worth having both the Dyna and Butterfly or would just the C.Dusk do? Mostly for solid recorded rock and metal.
Listening to this on my Penon Serials. Great suggestion Tony!! What would be best planar I’m at 400 mark or lower. Was looking at Sivga. But I’m a tad confused on planar iems
I'm still back and forth on the Dynaquattro. I made the mistake of EQing it to the Hype4's curve and it made me realize how much treble detail is missing. I can't remember what song I was listening to but there was a cymbal crash going on that was almost inaudible on the default tuning and as soon as I activated the EQ it came to the forefront. I pretty much listen to it with EQ exclusively now.

@@MikeWar327 With what you mentioned as your source gear and your library the 61T is the safer bet imho.
@@fiddlix I appreciate your input, thank you.
@@fiddlixdo you have any pressure issues with the 61t?
@@roguegorilla8981yeah, but once you figure out the fit and depth its a non issue. I use feaulle h570 tips.
Oh man, I'm definetely copping the dynaquattro on 11.11 or second hand.
We need the same comparison, but for BA IEMs. Thanks for your work and clarity of testing!

I love the Dynaquattro. The 7hz Five, not as much, as I returned it. I found it uncomfortable and way too V shaped, especially in the treble.
Hi Tony waiting for a Penon Fan 3 review pls !
This might be the best comparison on the multi dd IEMs. Thanks for the review.
Nice review as always Tony 😎 The Dynaquattro is a nice dd iem , sorry for the case included for the price one pays for this💀

Will you be reviewing the penon fan 3 at some point?
I'm very keen to hear how much difference the Bone conduction on/off switch makes
In the 90s all i had was V shaped earphones and the only option i had was "sony" honestly people complaining about the five dont know they are born !

Thank you Akros for this review, I have been waiting for your point of view on the 7Hz Five, I'm 7Hz fan you 🤣

A what contest?
The 7hz Five has way too much midbass. Dynaquatro looks pretty balanced in all region.
Not everyone wants balanced thankfully
@@moonsofjupiter So true. I have sets that doesn't sound balanced too.
