Even in a sexually oriented film like Fifthy Shades of Grey (I haven't watched), the male guy seemed more interesting than the female lead. Serene just gave you more confident than Michael. Another good written female characters are Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad.

OrkStuff not really, it's more of a bad ass super hero landing because she can take the fall without doing the full lower yourself to the floor classic superhero landing. She is shwoing that fall is nothing to her.
The stunt double actually fell from 11 feet up to make that landing with only a line harness supporting her in case she fell and to help her re-stand. But by all accounts she really f*cked one of her hamstrings performing the stunt because she wasn't supposed to squat quite so far down before the line slowed her.
Yup lol clearly took big inspiration she's like sort of the vampire version of lara although i hate to say it but how adaptable selene is she'd win if lara and selene got into a fight.

We love Selene because she's a great fighter, but she's much more than that. She's smart. She's the one who discovered the Lycan UV bullets and that Lucien was still alive, and she passed that information on to the Elders. That's what got her in trouble. They wanted her dead because she was too smart and figured out their treachery. ;-)
My all time favorite fight scene surprises most when I tell it. It's not against any of the main antagonists, no big boss type fight. It's the short but awesome fight scene against the cops in the woods. I love the gun play and all, but nothing is more boss to me than taking out armed enemies with your frikken hands and feet ( and throws ! ). It also is a big favorite because it shows some of the underrated powers of the vampire : The jump / landing from huge heights and the strength is seen often, but you don't really get to see the celerity ( aka haste which is the incrredibly fast moving ) and durability ( tanks a frikken shotgun point blank to the gut ) too much. This scene has all of that. 2:50 - 3:19
