This was really good imaginary movie because how they showed brotherhood of India in Pakistanis, I hope that real world also became like this movie 🥲

There was actually a man in Pakistan named Abdul Sittar Edhi who gave refuge to a hindu girl in Pakistan. That girl was from India and got lost in Pakistan. He even made a separate room for her to worship hindu gods. She even had an interview with an Indian news channel where she even talked to Salman Khan.

A Pakistani here, I have a lot of Indian friends online and sure some left once they found out that I was Pakistani but all and all, most of them are the sweetest people ever. I will never understand why some Indians hate Pakistanis and why some Pakistanis hate Indians, the separation was long ago and both should embrace their own countries because the separation happened for a reason, for equality, I hate how generational hate has pulled people apart when our countries could be the greatest friends.
All the songs in this movie are soo amazing and heart touch scenes, nawaz entry the movie become more Fun he is one of my favorite actor.
I really enjoyed his character so much! Made me laugh so many times. He had such a good charm
If you search up UA-cam apparently there really is a real Chaand Nawaab lol. They probably took the inspiration from him and added the character in the movie.

The next movie on your list should be Amir Khan's PK, a must-watch. Yet another blockbuster by Raju Hirani. The other two Amir Khan movies that you must watch are Dangal and Taare Zameen Per.
I find it cute that Uncle ji is mad at Pawan for entering Pakistan with Munni without any concrete plan in hand. 😁 I'm sure you gonna get lot of comments on this but just for the info part- K.Vijayendra Prasad has written the script in the masala genre which is broad strokes storytelling with enough logic to hold on to plus some fan service (over the top fight scenes, shirtless SK scene, character intro song etc) I agree with Uncle ji's observations, IMO (for continuing the discussion part), the movie is based on the fact that people in Pakistan and India have always been in good terms with eachother with enough cultural exchanges b/w them through Bollywood movies, songs, fav actors even festivals, religion (people from both countries visit temples of their faith across-the-borders), cricket & through the past itself & lot more. It's the political people & specially motivated people who come in power in both countries who're hell bent & sadly successful in creating the divide. This movie was well received in both the countries. You will find a ton of Hindi movies based on this reality (brotherhood)(lot of directors are directly affected by Partition) b'coz the politicians find it hard to point finger at these movies than the realistic movies based on incidents affecting both countries as they can easily twist the facts presented in it to suit their narrative. That's why the idealism/unrealistic portrayal of people/incidents in this movie is its biggest strength.

❤️ It is now in my top 5 movies of all time. We kept talking and talking about this movie when it was over. I mean we filmed this 5 days ago and just today we had a 15 min discussion about other things we realized about the story.
