Those are not for the tire inflation system. It’s for a self recovering feature. You take the lug wrench and insert it in the hole and wrap a rope around it essentially turning it into a winch.
@@crwray it already has several hook/Clevis points protruding through the frame in the hood etc and both bumpers…Seems to me they’re for recovery specifically
I purchased mine in June and the SF97 finally got sent in in November, hopefully in a couple weeks (fingers crossed). Heard one guy waited almost a year for his. Did talk to my US Senator's staff not much can be done. If you need a real VIN number there is a web site that show you how to generate one.
Might want to learn how these operate and take the EM brake off when trying to move it! The friggin red light was staring you in the face saying it was engaged
He got lucky. A lot of surplus humvees are scrap now. What did he pay for them and miles ? Also check for blowby while engine is running see if air is comming out of oil cap
Yup! I’ve got a 1999 c3500hd 4x4 with a 6.5 and it’s been a great engine. Truck weighs 9,000 lbs empty and gets 16 mpg city. I put Bosch duraterm glow plugs in it and it will fire right up in sun zero temps no problem.
FYI: Speedo/Odometer is not the original in most that come up for sale. If it does not have "FARIA Corp." name on the face, it has been replaced at LEAST once!

Oh that makes complete sense. Thanks for the info!
It could be used for that. I would for sure in a pinch but the design intent was for aft airlift points.

@@crwray CORRECT! They are the rear attachment points for an Airlift Sling (as are those two loops extending through the hood are for the front)(!
Loved the surprise test drive after the ending 😂 Awesome video man
Awesome to see a video uploaded so quick after the last!!
Remember to use BTM technique when climbing over stuff . Torsen diffs work wonders when you BTM
Worth the 6 month wait for those babies

Yeah the wait on these was around 6 months if I recall correctly. Worth the wait though!
@@TopLineRacer diffidently, just letting people what to expect.
They did not come with CTIS..that was an option but very rarely seen on the military Humvees..the Civilan H1s had CTIS

I had a blast!
Mine is similar, I've got the troop seats in the back. Took 4 months for paperwork to clear.
Well that was the easiest will it start I’ve ever watched lol!
Yeah got really lucky!
Cool trucks but only the Hummer H1 had tire inflation (CTIS Central Tire Inflation System).
CORRECT ...that error was just one on many errors & assumptions made in this video.
Dang now I want a Humvee 😁

Engine "Blowby" is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for the CDR and DWF systems to operate properly on a HMMWV!
Those are tanks, they'll go anywhere
lol my 6.5 would smoke out the neighborhood in the winter but always ran
Man no wayyy! I love those 6.2/6.5 Great engs! Just not made for huge hp. lol. Oh and that legendary clack! ugh!!!

That's a very familiar sound. And every now and then these get released with

H1 is a civilian production..those are HMMWV ..military Humvees
Hello, how can i contact you about the product review cooperation?
Nice!
u need one of those humvees u can get them cheap from goverment auctions
The cheaper you BUY them, typically the more money & time you have to invest in them ...like $10,500 to replace a generator! 😀
Wow, there was some great camera work on 1/2 of that video. (think of that what you will)
Hey would you want to sell that Duramax

Yo! You guys behaving? Enjoy the videos
You got to do some more research before comment over these beauty’s. These are humvees and that one there does not have self inflator
