I was thinking the finishing around the roof light wasn’t great but then you added the trim which finished it off nicely. Shame the kit didn’t include corners but thats not your fault. Can I ask, I’ve seen window frames fixed with a small dab of silicon under the screw head to make the fixing point water tight, is this not necessary for the screw in the trim. I’m assuming not as the trim sits at an angle so water shouldn’t penetrate easily, your thoughts?
You could do that. Although they way we did the fibreglass up the sides i dont think they will be any water issues without the trim. I will also be putting a bead of grey silicone on the top edge of the trim just foe extra comfort
Another great vid - thanks, man. What was the skylight make? Apart from the crap trims - was it a good make (and worth the money, in your opinion)? Cheers!
Looks great and I like the rain sensor feature. Saves on interior damage later. Good work guys.
