@@FordPrefict42 This lends more evidence to my pet hypothesis that there is a dimensional gateway somewhere near the North Pole that is the source of the "Santa Claus" stories. Emissions from the region are responsible for northern cultures being predisposed to ice hockey and not moving where the weather is better for humans.
The only reason the whole planet has not fallen victim to the phenomenon is that the Scandanavian cultures have laid out saunas in a very specific ritual diagram across their landscapes to capture and redirect that energy.
There are way more saunas than the ritual needs, to help camouflage which ones are crucial for the defense to remain in place. This prevents the hockey-addled cultures from breaking the protections, even by accident.
      -
Strangely, this has also influenced wars in the region. Finland had to break away from the Russian Empire when it transitioned to communism after the meddling led by Rasputin, a wizard from the parallel dimension whose very presence threatened the sauna defense diagram. It was with the power bled off of the North Polar rift that the soldiers of the Scandanavian countries were able to largely keep foreign influence out of the area through two world wars.
The notoriously rugged Nokia phones were an offshoot of the sauna ritual defense program, spread worldwide as a responsive measure against the Rankin Bass conspiracy (The Santa and Rudolph stop-motion movies were an attempt to encircle the sauna defense grid) and the relative indestructability of those phones helped to present an unbeatable second-strike defense. The Nokia deterrent was phased out after a treaty between the two sides was agreed upon.
      -
Rumors abound of a secret reserve of Nokia phones, standing ready around the equator and points south as a secret plan should the North Polar treaty be broken by the other side, sometimes known as "The Toyshop".

"The only reason I mention baseball, basketball, and football is because to my way of thinking, these are really the only three sports we have. Nothing else qualifies as a sport, according to me. Everything else is a game or an activity. Hockey comes to mind. People think hockey is a sport. Hockey is not a sport; hockey is three activities going on at the same time: ice skating, playing with a puck, and beating the sh*t out of somebody."

This entire series has been wonderful and getting better as it moves forward and grows, but this episode was close to perfection. You were all, (six of you, Kepler included) amazingly on point it was a treat to watch. From the feeling of utter doom at the beginning but with Ralph's almost manic positivity. To the hell yah we can do this in the middle ( luved that Waylon got thrown in the penalty box and not Sara). Sara's never going down without a fight attitude along with Bearington and Knuckle rising to the occasion. Lance scoring three goals and Waylon starting the fight that may have led to the tie and steady, nice guy Ralph's calm captainship only to be totally dissed by Sara at the end. This last part played to absolute perfection by Justin and Melissa. And the coup de' grace ... maybe ;) was Lance getting to score the winning goal on penalty (yea Jhae ) even after almost flubbing the shot, thanks to that nat one (suck it you polite bastard of a Canadian goalie :)) ). As I said at the top this episode was close to perfection, a cherry on the top of this amazing series, but seeing the utter joy on all your faces in some of the outtakes was, if possible even better. You all seem like you have an amazing amount of fun despite all the hard work and it is wonderful to be part of. Thank you all and keep up the great work.

A Dire Moose Knuckle hitting the ice, now that's a creepy image, but funny at the same time. What would you roll to protect yourself from it hitting you? I'm sure they couldn't bear to lose that match, thankfully it was Bearington, if not it would probably be pandamonium.
What would a Canadian death stare look like? Would they go "Sorry, but we have to take you out, it's our orders. Sorry if we hurt you."?(yeah I know, stereo type). Knowing Sara and Wailin had a murder hobo partner in Bearington made me laugh. Is there a penalty box time for a bear biting someone?
it's going to suck to see Ralph go, he's one of the best npcs they have had. I just had a thought, if they were in medieval times and jousting, would Lance be a lancer?? My job here has been done.

Always seems to be the way in hockey movies. The final game is tied and determined by a penalty Shot by the "worst" player on the team to show how much they improved/can be counted on in a pinch or, if they lose, to show the power of friendship is more important than winning the game.

My foot hurts a little at the moment; not from ice hockey, but from accidentally dropping a 2 litre full bottle of lemonade on it only a few minutes ago. Watching this short, made me smile and laugh, and my ache is cured. Thanks folks, miraculous a ever!
