How Can You Convert B1/B2 Visa to Green Card in USA?

The B1/B2 is a non-immigrant visit visa to the USA. You can only use it for tourism and business purposes, but you can't live in the USA long-term on this visa. However, the good news is that you can convert this visa to an immigrant visa in the USA in some cases, which I'll explain in this video.

Slight correction: There is no direct way for US Green Card inside the US except for marrying a US citizen. You can change status inside US to either student (F-1) or E-2 (business) from B1/B2. Once that is approved, only then you can get sponsored by your employer (EB3 (skilled and unskilled) and EB2 (skilled)). You also need to educate yourself on visa bulletins.
There is also another option of self filing EB-2 NIW and EB-1 but for that you need to build your profile as that is mostly for advanced degrees.
If you want to travel back to your home country after change of status, then you will have to visit local consulate/embassy for visa stamping.
The current trends for employment based green cards is anywhere between 3 to 5 years after change of status. It is complicated and time consuming so plan accordingly.
