(he has basic knowledge about cubes and thought it'd be funny), which is fine, i thought i could explain the situation to my mom and ask her for a new one ($15). she said "he couldn't have known better" (brother is 14 btw and i always tell him to not touch my things, but he does anyway. when i do let him, shit like this happens) and that i couldn't get a new one. now i'm left 2x2-less.

I''m not into speedcubing but know how to solve many puzzle, and everytime i solve one, i avoid having the orange face towards me if i can. That's just a weird quirks i have but i can't stand this face. Even in how i put my cubes in display, orange is always not visible.

Obviously some modifications were necessary to produce anything remotely functional in our 3D world, but I can't help but feel as though there's some better implementation possible.

Strangely enough, it wouldn't shock me, if it was really the orange stickers. I had an Moyu Aosu (I think that was the name) and sometimes some of the stickers fell off. Orange probably twice as often as the other colors combined.
