This country is ruled by a filthy dictator and those with him from his party say in the constitutionality of their party justice and democracy, and they are far from that, the yin of heaven and earth is a party. Liar years of rule without any elections, their ugliness, the wretched, the independence of Eritrea from 1993 until now. There is no civilized development. It is like the state. It is like the jungle of the people. The people are sad from the extreme poverty. There are countries that have been liberated and are now industrialized countries that produce and make their people more developed. From Eritrea to emigrate, the state has become a beggar. Why is it because it rejects development and military rule does not look for the origin of investment and education? If you were looking for the reason for closing universities, you would be surprised by the answers of the despicable people from this filthy ruling party

It is part of the US foreign policy to demonize and play a psychological game on others while they have so much big mess of social, economical and political issues of their own.
Better always to see and discover things on your own than to rely on government.

This has resulted in many close and beautiful friendships and I feel so blessed to have them in my life. Despite the hardships many have suffered, I find that if I need to be cheered up, I only need to spend some time with my dear Eritrean 🇪🇷 friends . Truly beautiful people inside and out. I like Ethiopian people 100x more, they are more social, more mundane and less peasant. My experience with Eritreans: they hate people who come from another country and even talk on the other side of the world, only their own obscure language . Everyone feels alone with you because you are terrible nationalists. I've been to other countries in Africa, but never seen anything like it.They chatter about Iritrea, but have the same culture as Ethiopia.Same food, same religion. Independent of Mengustu in the 90's and how ironic, now they have a dictatorship and so many young people flee to Europe. Proud of Italian occupation, what a joke.

Here’s what you need to know in South Korea: it worse than North Korea and led by Afwerki, a dictator since 1993 when it gained freedom and has not judiciary, congress, legislature-just a one man show. The says "systematic, widespread and gross human rights violations." “Those who attempt to flee the country are considered "traitors," and there is a shoot-to-kill policy on the border.” Have fun there. Sure, the people are lovely, but they really have no choice but to be otherwise, the people of North Korea.

@@geneamha7584 nope, I’m an Eritrean and support my government who believes in self resilience. All Eritreans who are against our government, my advice to you is don’t be brainwashed by the west, they just plan to use you to bring down our country. Learn from Libya, the west convinced the people to go against Gadafi, they were will to be armed by USA to attack their own country. They regret it now and only now they realise what they have done. Just look at Libya now. USA/ west can only destroy a country by arming rebels to attack their own government.
So please don’t be fooled, we Africans need to stand together. #NoMore!

I was in Asmara in Oct 94. The country was still recovering from the war. What marked me the most was these old Italians men living in the city.
Had amazing staff dinner while there. Would love to go back.
