Explosive corpse is very usefull if you don't have any gear (for example in V*****d) - you kill one partol with hidden blade, add explosion and go back to hiding and wait. It is usefull to kill (or stagger) patrolling animals that ignore your play dead skills and can't be assassinated.
the explosion may not kill an enemy but 1. they work well as "proximity alarms" against enemies you may have missed nearby 2. enemies that you normally cant 1-shot with your bow will be weakened to the point where they now can be 3. the explosions dont alert the entire camp so theres no reason not to use it especially when it inconvenient to hide the body
Can you do a realistic build using bear, wolf and raven trees and armor weapon etc? I'm really interested to see the outcome! I love those kind of builds.
I just got the game last week, and I put everything into the Raven tree. Since I haven't played enough to fight, what I consider well... Since I'm still learning timing. So I've been using my bow to snipe what I can't sneak up on... Little did I know, that I unknowingly made a god tier build. And b/c of this build, I've gained a new love for spears & short swords. Since this game does weapon styles well. XD
Lmao i use explosive corpse with poison trap they come in boom explosion boom second bomb detonates they poisoned and already weak they die miasma kicks in kills their friends. Its tricky to use but tbh fun.
Missile reversal is ESSENTIAL when taking down Zealots. If your any good at parrying, it’s not even that difficult to land when used against the Zealots that throw javelins, but the ones that shoot light bows are a bit more difficult, but not impossible.
This tree was a big bummer to me. I skipped origins and Valhalla because the stealth trees feel almost nonexistent. We loved odyssey because the stealth was so fun in that game. I was a glass cannon, so I had to plan out my approach more times than none. Just hoping the next game will go more in depth with stealth and assassinations
And with the counter roll perk when your left hand is holding no weapon when you roll over them you land and stab the enemy with the hidden blade so it’s a tiny detail that makes you feel more like an assassin
We managed to finish the raid, but we will likely do some more speed runs of it down the line. I'll more than likely be streaming Trials of Osiris (PvP endgame) this weekend (Livid)
Counter sounds great on paper, but the timing is near impossible to get down from what I can tell and sometimes even when you pull it off your enemy will have moved too far away to even hit them. Brush with death is much better and I hate that because I had high hopes for counter roll. If they added a stun to counter roll and fixed the timing window it would be great.
I love duel welding two handed weapons which takes on 4 at once stunning them, lighting them on fire and watching them scream. I couldn't play this game on stealth.
I just killed a zealot recommended 90 and I'm 35 power because of Backstab and brush with death lol. I'm going Bear tree for my other talents, though. I have no interest in playing like an old assassin's creed game while being a viking.
how is the one hit assasination skill controversial? if you want the challenge of the boss fight then go in without stealth and weapons out, how is this even a point to complain abt? the dev literally gives u the option to choose how to play, i feel like ppl these days just wanna complain for the sake of complaining
U can jump of any high building by pressing RT button before u hit the ground taking no damage on xbox box one controller I don't know what it is for pc. I'm using nearly all of dose kills. I have over 70 hours played power level 206.
Question: Besides the hammer you can buy with real money, is there any weapon that can apply poison on hit without using the hidden ones ability? Like, there's an axe that deals fire damage when you crit, and a shield that does an explosion when parrying. Is there something similar with poison?
been trying to find the definition of "aligned" in forums no one seem to understand, damn. how can i say ive got the skill bonus? how to know if it was aligned with ravens, yes i know the symbol of raven but does it needs to be aligned like equip with the same line?
4:30 : a tip, dont waste a point or two on this skill since you can JUMP and SPAM heavy attack until you land. This will make an attack when landing and you wont take any damage at all.

I miss the poison on ac that caused enemies to just start swinging weapons wildly till they died or were killed.

Hard to play stealth on this game, it always forces you to combat.
Challenging stealth is a good thing, old stealth was too easy and enemies could detect you in 10 seconds when you are looking straight at them
