As a Halloween bride who's gone with an all black palette, I hear ya on the temptation to add an accent. It doesn't get any easier at the other end of things, believe me; I've had to restrain myself from looking at purple runners for the tables and deep red ties for the groomsmen. Hopefully it all works out.
Why would you limit yourself? All black? Nothing for the eyes to rest upon and to feast upon? Just all black? Personally, I wouldn't feel at ease in such an atmosphere as a guest. I think your purple runners and deep red ties would make it much more interesting. What do your friends say?
How can you plan your wedding colors around the trend? How unoriginal.. yuck. How boring.. Look at colors that speak you YOU!! Then find colors that compliment. I’m amazed that colors are so bland nowadays.. have fun!! If you’re expressive and vibrant in life? Choose a palette that represents how your live makes you feel!!
