- Today I am trying the Danessa Myricks Groundwork Defining Neutrals Palette. This is a multi-use, talc-free palette with velvety pomades & coordinating oil absorbing shaping powders that easily define eyes, brows, cheeks & lips.
I have to be honest, I was really intimidated with this palette when I first received it. However, it is surprisingly easy to use. I still think there is a learning curve to see what shades and tools work best for different things, but overall, I was thrilled with how my makeup came out. I can definitely see myself using this one a lot in the future.

It’s definitely unique. But if you know you won’t use the shades, then definitely not for you.
I must know how the texture compares to the new merit single shadows. Any thoughts?
Completely different. I’m about to film a video on the Merit Shadow, so I will try and remember to address. This is more putty. I honestly didn’t think the color would pick up on the brush, but it did.
for the small powder pans you can pull them out which helps not spread powder into the pommade pan.

I think it’s a pass for many people. I like it a lot and will use it, but I don’t think I would have purchased it if I hadn’t received it.
