Yea and then people wonder why Howard doesn’t want a relationship with him or talk to him. And to a lot of “fans” Howard is the asshole in some way.
@@1984isnotamanual i'm pretty sure they have spoke , i seen one of arties more recent interviews from a few years back when he got clean and he implied they spoke and he tried to apologise etc but he said he couldnt really get his point across on the phone something to that effect.
@@DrSprigs I’ve heard of stuff like that. People think the reason Howard doesn’t play Artie stuff on the air is because Howard is evil. That’s the hater insane bitter fans that can’t stand that Howard has moved on from some things. I think the main reason is he is afraid of setting Artie of because Howard did ignore a lot of signs and also because he is hurt that Artie lied so much and that for a few years there he talked crap about Howard. It’s all I shame and I hope they have connected up again and Artie made amends.
@@1984isnotamanual yeah but Artie was a very angry drug addict i doubt Howard took any of that personally he knew how out of control Artie was and i doubt he'd hold that kinda thing against him. Drug addicts do and say things they don't really mean. However if Artie is still clean i would like to see them do an interview on the show and leave the relationship on a happy note. Hell if i was in charge the last year of Sterns contract i'd bring back Artie get them back in studio and let them all go insane again 😂 for the last year just go back to the chaos in a blaze of glory.

He admitted in his other book. The one after the book they are talking about now on this video. Crash and Burn it’s called, in it he admits he was doing coke and benzos and heroin the whole time. It was all lies on the air when it came to drugs and sobriety.

Yeah they loved him as long as he was provided interesting material for the show. When he became awful toward the end of his time there, he was shown the door and forbidden to be spoken about again.

God Artie really wasn’t funny at all. He had a few really good segments with crystal clear high pitch Mike and Sal fights..: otherwise he sucked jackie was 20x better and Howard robin n Fred weren’t afraid to rip on Jackie. They coddled Artie so bad.

True. That and jackie wrote for howard so he was at least sometimes funny. The whole crew shitting on jackie and fred were the funniest parts of the show. Artie was asleep half his tenure and Howard started playing pretend therapist every show

Artie is a compulsive liar and Howard makes himself look stupid acting like he believes everything Artie says
He knew. 1 it wasn’t really his responsibility to care and 2 it brought him unplanned sediments to keep the show entertaining. If anything he was glad Artie was such a disaster because it brought him hours and hours of content. They all knew he was getting high.
The whole show was built on disasters. From problematic employees to the Wack Pack. Howard was always so insecure that people would branch off the show and do other stuff because he knew deep down he needed them all.
There’s no way anyone can be around someone strung out on opioids everyday and not know

Once Howard was in the situation he just looked at it as endless material and great entertainment to help fill 4 hours of dead air

The way Artie treated Chris Hansen and Anthony didn't stop him. Both high ruined a possibility great interview . Chris wrote a bad check so what he made great TV and put a lot of chos in prison. I lost all respect for both
