Thanks for the pep talk 🙂 I love that you are savagely honest with your mom about her picks and she takes it all in stride and then when you show her your stuff she loves everything that you picked 😂 thanks for talking thru your thoughts on stuff about why you did or did not get something - you should be very proud of the ability to skip something good that has a flaw or stain or that isn’t the best of the best, it takes a lot of self control and is difficult hard to learn and implement in reselling
Merino wool dresses will sell even with small holes, the new price is so expensive that if the hole isn't glaring it will still sell. I sold one recently, same day listed for 50 with a hole in the arm! Love your thrift videos, super educational for me. thank you❤
I loved your encouraging words. I’m in a bigger city this week and haven’t found anything cause these goodwills pull the good stuff. But I kept looking. And darn if I didn’t find a Kipling crossbody bag with its monkey attached and THEN I found a black label Ralph Lauren 100% cashmere red dress. 😂 I’m so glad I kept my head up, like you said. Literally up, cause they hang those dresses so high. 😂
I used to go to the Family Thrift Outlet in Plano TX, this brought back memories. I always went the first day they switched out merchandise but later in the day. There were always so many resellers with their carts full.
Hey Mackenzie I know you’ve been a full time reseller on Poshmark for awhile now. Have you come across Poshmark deleting your listings for “intellectual property” (using stock photos?) I’d love to hear about your experience on that on a video! Thanks
You are the only UA-cam reseller whose thrifting videos I watch. I’d like to ask you some questions. --- *How many years do you keep your products at most?* *And how do you manage old products?** Thank you.
I love the mushroom skirt! Please go back to the store and get that granny heart sweater!! I actually screamed at my tablet when you didn’t get it or I should say gasped lol
Nice of you putting back the pieces in the hanger. Lately some people are so messy. This week I saw a kid kicking a pair of shoes that were on the floor and his parents never said a word.
Great video, as usual lots of tips so thank you! The mushroom dress can also be worn as a skirt, it's very flattering with the smocking on the hips and backside!
Can you list all the criteria that you go by when choosing the pieces you buy? You always say that something is substantial but what makes it substantial? Thanks!
Omg that sweatshirt. We had a family vacation to portland maine a few years ago. On the one day that we were supposed to do a nature tour in Kennebunkport, it rained badly, so we stayed around Portland instead. Haha. So I too have never been there!
creo que el senor esta hablando en espanol en el fondo :) hee hee Hi Mackenzerz so much fun to see you and Ma shopping. hope you've been finding really juicy stuff ...and sells quickly and fast and all that good stuff
Love your videos and I’ve learned so much from watching you! I’m new to thrifting and wondering when there is a dry cleaning tag on the item, do you usually leave those on so the purchaser knows it’s been dry cleaned?
That Sally LaPointe was a great find. Lots of celebs wear her stuff. Especially JLo. So funny watching you go through your mom’s stuff. Nope, nope, nope. 😂😂
Are mushrooms a new thing? My niece’s daughter likes mushrooms. They were popular in the 70’s but only in decor/canisters. I don’t remember them being in fabric.
The world: what do you do for a living ? Us: flip through racks for hrs to find gold lol 😂❤ the hunt is real 😅 So exhausting but best job ever when you strike gold 🎉
Haha they don't do new racks like Goodwill at this store! None of the inventory gets changed out unless it's Thursday, so if you see a rack of clothing it's because they are moving it around to fill in empty spaces in the racks from what has sold from previous days!
@@laroycecornell-jl2ph the brand is Dreamers by Debut which is a low end boutique kinda brand. Sometimes people will add the Anthropologie name into their listing to try to get more traffic on the listing, but this brand is not sold at Anthro. A quick indicator that this sweater is lower end is the material, Anthro rarely if ever sells 100% acrylic knits because their retail price point warrants higher quality fabrics - you’ll almost always see some type of natural fabric blend. You can also find a list of verified brands sold through Anthro on their website.
Haven't even watched the video yet, but your mom has a radiant smile. I can see where you get yours. 😃
Aw thank you!!
I live how you mom’s cart was full of staff and after you guys meet up and went though the items she left with 2 things😂❤
Haha yes!! She has a death pile right now so she only wants to pick up the best of the best

Omg your banter with your mom sounds just like with mine when we go thrifting! ♥️
We're always laughing about something lol
I love how you fix all the clothes on the hangers 🫶

@@dawnmole5517 OMG dress sourcing is always an arm killer 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I don’t know the monkey came with it. Oh well..
Yay!!!
The granny sweater that you left behind, was my favorite piece of your haul.
Yep Mom was right 😊
Haha! It was cute and if I thought it would have sold for more than $25 I would have grabbed.

I’m learning from you about types of materials and brands. Thank you!
I love the mushroom skirt! Please go back to the store and get that granny heart sweater!! I actually screamed at my tablet when you didn’t get it or I should say gasped lol
Same! I totally would have gotten it!!! 🩷
If I thought it would have sold for more than $25 I totally would have!

Thank you for your videos I love watching and learning from them !!
Hi, that Adriana Papell can be paired up with a pair of jeans and some pointy heels and a nice vintage bag. It does not need a skirt.
Your mom is precious! And I love your Kennebunkport sweatshirt! One of the coolest places I’ve ever been.
She is!! And good to know it's a cool place considering Ive been wearing the sweatshirt like every day lol
Your mom is so cute! How she loved every single piece you were deliberating on. She didn’t not like a single one! 😂
I tried to find them in the video but couldn't??
Do you wash the clothes before packaging/selling it?
Can you list all the criteria that you go by when choosing the pieces you buy? You always say that something is substantial but what makes it substantial? Thanks!
Longer length dresses/skirts (vs. mini length), better/natural materials (vs. artifical), thicker knits (vs. thin or lightweight). etc.
Nice to go with your mom to these places !

Thank you so much!

If they are blocking the brand tag or material tag, then I usually remove them!
Any crochet coverups and tunics sold very quickly for me, any brand. That chico’s cardigan looks really nice!
I would have loved to get it but it had a large stain!
Fall is just around the corner I’ve sold 3 wool sweaters 2 alpaca blend sweaters and a coat at my asking price
Yes! totally selling blazers and pullovers now, too!
That Sally LaPointe was a great find. Lots of celebs wear her stuff. Especially JLo. So funny watching you go through your mom’s stuff. Nope, nope, nope. 😂😂

Mushie skirt is adorable!!!

Yes!!
you also listing by ZeeDrop Crosslister to Poshmark?
How did you get into thrifting/reselling?
I just kinda stumbled into it after college! I started selling my own items and then switched to thrifted :)
❤❤the deodorant convo had me rolling😂😂 yall are the cutest
😂😂❤️
Do you find much going at 6:30 pm on a 2$ day? My stores everything worth it is gone in the wink of an eye;) That mushroom skirt, though!
Yes some items definitely fall through the cracks!
Hands free! Are you using the beta glasses? Or something else?
I have a GoPro!
Me! I love the mushroom prints!
Can I ask what you use to film. And it is hands free? My goodwill is not happy with people filming. I’m in sw Florida. Thank you,Melinda
I use a GoPro and have it on a chest mount!
@@Mcthriftzie thank you. I think I have to overcome my anxiety about filming in public along with a store that will allow it.
That I hope you’re okay hoodie might have been lonely ghost💰💰
I don't think so, it felt super cheap quality!
Is it a tunic or a mini dress? A question I ask myself all the time lol especially with Free People 😂
Hahaha, totally!
@ 30:20 the red Nike high tops - are those worth anything?

Beautiful Mom~
Inside and out!!
Hi Kenzie, have you listed the Talbot’s black sleeveless dress?
Hi! Not yet but if you leave your username I can tag you!
Hi Kenzie, @conni1902 black sleeveless dress from Talbot’s.
Hi that sweater with the patches on it is an anthropology brand and it was a cute sweater.
And her mom liked it so maybe she should have bought it. Her mom should make her own decisions, maybe go shopping on her own.
@@notsheepish8304together is so much more fun! They are darling 🩷
It wasn't Anthropologie! If it were I most likely would have grabbed it.
