@@crazysychoninja9193 correct, he's been killed or died 43 times
This is my favorite film, an IMPORTANT one which I can rarely say about any movie. It came out just 4 years after 9/11 so V could be seen as either a terrorist or a freedom fighter. The U.S. was still in the throws of uber patriotism, passing the Patriot Act and invading Iraq. The pandemic aspect was prescient especially the failure of the U.S. government to deal with it resulting in 550,000 dead.
I re-watch this every Nov. 5th, Guy Fawkes Day.
Me thinks same who did 9/11 did C0^id. What you think....? talking with a mask on.
You think the message of a movie like V was the "failure to DEAL with a virus?"
THAT'S what you got out of it?
i read somewhere the movie is set on 2030
its the same writers that wrote the matrix movies BTW and the guy that voices/plays V plays agent system in The matrix
How relevant this movie is right now! Really makes you think! If you don't question all totalitarian nature, weather it comes from the Far Right or Now Far Left. We must all stand against BOTH sides of a Totalitarian mandates. If we allow our governments to push this shit because we're fear, this is VERY possible!!
A Comicbook before it was a Film before a Reality.
Alan Moore is the Greatest.
Ever read Watchman? Both written before the end of the Cold War. Before 9/11.
So crazy...
Alan Moore is quite the genius.
I've reacted to watchmen by snyder but I wanna read the graphic novel because I loved the movie
@@theguywiththemicrophone6505 You’re in for a treat... The Graphic Novel is a legendary Comicbook. I’ve never read V but it is also considered to be a Masterwork.
saw this in theatre when released, have the DVD... if you've ever done graphic novels and, uhm, disagreed with our previous president, like a more contemporary 1984' or 'Animal Farm', set in England... Natalie Portman is great in this...
I remember it having one of the worst trailers i've ever seen. Check it out, I believe it really hurt the movie.
Noice I’ve never seen this before, pretty damn good, nice one mate 👍
Frightening, at least to me, how much this movie can fit so neatly on what I fear is taking place right now. How government can take advantage of a crisis or manipulate/create one and use it to seize control.
It is a great one, though. Good choice.
It is and like I said in the video, If I watched this when covid first became a problem, ill be a lot more worried aha
@@theguywiththemicrophone6505 Honestly, the movie appears to be a guidebook on how to avoid autocracy.
Hi First time watching your channel. As a Brit I wondered how you would react to the Parliament Building and Big Ben getting blown up. Thanks.
I love this movie
Hey! Thanks for watching and I'll probably be god smacked and wondering what it means for the entire country
Wow. I knew someone, as a fellow Brit with your name around 19 years ago...!
Not being interested in politics is how the reality in this movie occurs. Get interested. ✊✌️
V save her. He is saving her.
Cheers for the great reaction and review! I thoroughly enjoy your enthusiasm, and genuine thoughts and opinions. 👍🤓
FYI*: V is played by Hugo Weaving (H.G.) - aka "Mr. Smith" in the Matrix.
* I know a gazillion-and-two commenters have probably already covered the H.G. "revelation," but(t) now my two cent's worth is in the kitty, too.

😒🤡🤦💩🤔
And ...🦆💨🤢 ... 🖖🤭✌️
Thank you :) and ahhh...'MR ANDERSON WHY DO YOU PERSIST?!'
Not a fan of action at all but I might give this a watch. Seems interesting
Worth it
@@Z3sty367 if you say so :)
@@araigumaxo3907 not exactly an action movie.
@@raam726 that's what imdb said
Yeah, its definitely worth it! I would class this as a dystopian political action (Wikipedia agrees aha)
he sounds like agent smith
Lol thank you Padme
Looks like V needs a hug :P @TheGuyWithTheMicrophone
the best movie about fake news
'you are fake news' ahaha
I am enjoying your reaction, my friend but one question :)
You seem to have an English accent and yet you mentioned "Vancouver in lockdown" so have you emigrated and left us and, if so, is it permanently and why did you leave, please ?
I live in the UK aha, If I said Vancouver then I must've had a brain fart or something aha
Natalie Portman is Padme and this movie is about COVID, not 9/11? LOL. God I'm old.
Yeah, I definitely showed that I'm 20 😂
I wanna fried-bread egg sandwich!
The only negative comment I have is the sound. I can barely hear you or the video and my volume is all the way up. Is there a chance you can turn the video and your mic volumes up please?
I'll try to work something out, thanks for letting me know 🙂
this is happening in China right now!
You not into politics?
POLITICS IS INTO YOU!!!
(politics is actually a form of policies; everyone alive, should get into it immediately!)
The real Guy Fawkes actually jumped from the gallows so as to prevent the British government from executing him.
Your accent is British, so I assume you know who guy fawkes is. In case you are not a history fan, he is responsible for your "bonfire nights"
A truly excellent reaction, young Sir. I didn't think the young had it in them anymore. It seems at least one does. Good work. Is it still relevant today? May I present convicted criminal and the next President of the USA, Donald Trump. It is always relevant. It always will be.
You don’t know Guy Fawkes? You’re English, mate. Bonfire night AKA Guy Fawkes night. 5th November
Yeah, history isn't my strong suit, I know of Bonfire night but not the basic history of it. Embarrassing I know aha
Will you be able to react to the horror movie Stigmata Starring Patricia Arquette Oscar winner Please
I have one sentence for you. Read the graphic novel!
Okay V aha
@@theguywiththemicrophone6505 "Good evening, London. This is the voice of Fate. Almost four hundred years ago tonight, a great citizen made a most significant contribution to our common culture. It was a contribution forged in stealth and silence and secrecy, although it is best remembered in noise and bright light. To commemorate this most glorious of evenings, her majesty’s government is pleased to return the rights of secrecy and privacy to you, its loyal subjects. For three days, your movements will not be watched, your conversations will not be listened to, and “do what thou wilt” shall be the whole of the law. God bless you, and goodnight."
They made the movie infused with identity politics unlike the graphic novel, its values are dumbed down a bit but it's a cool movie regardless.
Agreed. The tribalist political sophistry really did a disservice to the original work
Watch the man from earth
The more films I watch, the more Chris Nolan steals.
just a little word of advice, only leave the focus on you when you're talking
to me his starting speech may sound far right but the movies message is so hard toward the far left, they want to control what media and how you think and speak. Sounds like the left to me anyway.
Couldn't watch the reaction. The word terrorist came out of your mouth too much in the first few minutes.
This film is the most, wait for it, yes, here it comes . . beautiful LOVE STORY in decades. 1970 Her stunning beauty (inside too) and innocence so rare; fueled his COURAGE and his LOVE for her. She was totally SECURE in his LOVE. Their LOVE TOGETHER destroyed the demonic Fear, hatred and death (Rev 13) in their world. She says to him 'How can you be the . . .most important thing that has happened to me. We can leave together. Don't die.' He says to her 'Nothing existed until I saw you, then all changed & I fell in love with you.' I wept as I never have in decades. And now IT IS OUR TURN! All you BRAVE PEOPLE STAND UP NOW! It is our REFUSAL to bow to any law but our own. DEFEND your CHILDREN, FAMILIES and FRIENDS! Good news! WE WIN!!!!! (John 3.3, 33-34 and Luke 24.6)--
